You missed some horrible refereeing that decided the game in the Netherlands' favour.Good thing Brazil isn't Japan. They have all shamed their families, and you know what happens next.
Missed the game, sadly, but it doesn't look like I missed much. Ready for tomorrow though!

Brazilians just can't get a break, fortunately there are no more games for them
Yeah, two bad ref calls steered the game. It was a foul but not a penalty, and there was offside at 2nd goal, although it was literally a matter of inches. But that was a really bad play by David Luiz, who was one of their best players in the first 2 games: with your back away from the goal, any decent defensive player ought to kick it out in the corner, you don't just blindly kick it 10m back hoping your guy will get to it first, simply a totally unnecessary risk.
=Also it deserved a red card.

IDK, I was watching some post-game analysis with a professional referee, and it looked like the contact both started and finished before the box, Robben's fall made it look like it carried into the box, and everyone in the studio agreed. The rule states that if the contact is carried into the Box (which it did) that it is a PK. It doesn't matter if the contact started outside the box. Plus it was so bad (akin to an intentional or clear path foul in basketball) any doubt goes to PK. Also it deserved a red card.

I agree with the red card, although it wasn't half as bad as Robben made it look.
This quote from Lineker is still relevant:
Quote:
Football is a simple game. Twenty-two men chase a ball for 90 minutes and at the end, the Germans always win.
