As I said earlier in the thread, I have no problems with the schedule. No they can't play both semis on the same day. Europe will miss one of them and/or South America will. A professional sport is for the fans. An entertainment productbut the schedule is pre-approved, and regardless of who is playing in the semis, it always gives an advantage to one team in the finals over another--that extra day of rest.

That isn't a solution. 2pm Brazil time is 9pm in the Germany I believe. So, after the first game, it would be 1am Wednesday morning.
Having them on separate days allows nothing more than one team getting "shafted". The difference between 3 and 4 days of rest is going to have little impact on these teams, especially considering the schedule they already have been participating in.
