Totally an accident. They were simply moving in opposite directions. Kramer's temple was hammered by the point of Rojo's shoulder.

Bad news for Germany they've had to use a sub for Kramer already. I'm sure that's why they tried to keep him playing. I wouldn't mind if they changed to rules to allow extra substitutions for injuries...not sure how they'd counter players faking injuries though. Maybe a doc calls in to the 4th ref, after the player's been checked out and injury verified, after which the sub is credited back to the team.
