I'd call it a team effort with a lot of luck. If Manning hadn't made that last drive work, the defense might have gotten that turnover/touchdown, but I doubt it.And that was one nutty game.
Chiefs were up, ~2 mins left, thought game was in bag so I turned off my car and went inside gas station to get coffee and then fill up my car.
Started car right after and game changed completely.
Messy defensive game for most of it, but was better than I thought it would be.
Fucking A. I wrote off the Broncos early; Manning is looking old this year. But damn. That was good stuff.
Lol@Alex Smith
lol @ Andy Reid.
Well, that goes without saying. I just had to lol at Alex SSSmith's throw though.

I had Denver last night. I was watching the game and thought they were gonna lose. Crazy ending. Denver's offense just doesn't look right. They needed lucky defensive plays to bail them out two weeks in a row now.
still looked better than PFM all night...holy crap that old man is done, no?
In other news, I'm sick of these east coast sports times!
2 straight games where I've fallen asleep in the final quarter and missed some last-minute shenanigans.
Is Denver quite possible the worst team to start off at 2-0? Seems that way. (granted, their Defense is stellar, so I guess they aren't horrible. Just a noodle-armed Mr McGoo under center the last 12 or so starts.)

Peyton needs to get the yardage record and then hang it up after the season. There is something very obvious wrong with him at this stage. I did see a few throws and had a surprising amount of heat, but those were the exceptions and he struggled with power and release most of the game.
They've won against Baltimore and KC, so I wouldn't say they're horrible. Those are a couple of pretty good defenses. I do believe they're probably good enough to make the conference championship.

I honestly don't think he'll make it. He's going to take a few major hits and get a concussion then it'll be all over. He'll never get released from the protocol if he gets put on it this year, and with good reason due to his existing neck problems. My prediction is that the best chance Peyton has to win another ring will be with Brock Osweiller at QB.
I do think their defense is currently good enough to carry them far (hello Baltimore SB 1), but Peyton isn't just throwing short, weak passes, he's also making some very un-Peyton decisions telegraphing his throws. He's overhtrowing and underthrowing his receivers all over the place. It's really strange, and seems much worse than the final half of the previous season.
Worst part is that the word is already out: safeties are just sitting back and spying on him, expecting short hanging throws in a very limited part of the field. He's already got 4 INTs and and 2 pick-6s to open the season.
He's still crumbling like a frightened child whenever an opposing DE encroaches on his personal space, so I'm worried that one solid hit will end it for good.
Yeah, his line play was terrible last night and it forced him into a lot of bad throws and decisions. IIRC, one of the graphics from the game last night showed that only 1 member of the starting OL was a starter last year. Everyone else from last year is gone or in the case of Clady, lost for the season.
