We've had a LOT of pink slips this week, the most notable, the Lions clean out that filth in the FO.

...and

LOL Whisenhunt
LOL Lombardi (last week)
LOL the Colts OC
LOL Lions Front office.

My picks:

Thursday, November 5
Cleveland Browns (2-6) at Cincinnati Bengals (7-0) 8:25 p.m., NFLN

Sunday, November 8
Miami Dolphins (3-4) at Buffalo Bills (3-4) 1 p.m., CBS
Green Bay Packers (6-1) at Carolina Panthers (7-0) 1 p.m., FOX
St. Louis Rams (4-3) at Minnesota Vikings (5-2) 1 p.m., FOX
Washington Redskins (3-4) at New England Patriots (7-0) 1 p.m., FOX
Tennessee Titans (1-7) at New Orleans Saints (4-4) 1 p.m., CBS
Jacksonville Jaguars (2-5) at New York Jets (4-3) 1 p.m., CBS
Oakland Raiders (4-3) at Pittsburgh Steelers (4-4) 1 p.m., CBS
Atlanta Falcons (6-2) at San Francisco 49ers (2-6) 4:05 p.m., FOX
New York Giants (4-4) at Tampa Bay Buccaneers (3-4) 4:05 p.m., FOX
Denver Broncos (7-0) at Indianapolis Colts (3-5) 4:25 p.m., CBS

SNF
Philadelphia Eagles (3-4) at Dallas Cowboys (3-5) 8:30 p.m., NBC

Monday, November 9
Chicago Bears (2-5) at San Diego Chargers (2-6) 8:30 p.m., ESPN

Byes: Arizona, Baltimore, Detroit, Houston, Kansas City, Seattle

And the Raiders aren't garbage anymore, and I think the Pack are in serious trouble of dropping 2 in a row.

Panthers finding ways to win..even with Cam having some career low numbers.

You should have a poll for whether SF or WAS gets the bigger ass whipping this week.

Funny thing came out today, that Stafford's days are "numbered", apparently because of his inability to pickup a complicated offense.

I'd hate to see Megatron go, but his 24 Million next season is ridiculous, and its not like we're on the verge of making a deep playoff run, or I'd keep him.

The new GM is going to hire a new coach and other staff, and probably find a way to move this massive contracts of Stafford and Calvin.

We need to rebuild.

Raiders will always be garbage.

Go Broncos!

I think the Raiders have a good future. They have a Quarterback, and that's what you need.

Cooper is a very good wr, and they have a formidable defense. They're trending up.

Agreed, and as a Broncos fan I like it. Football isn't as exciting when your division rivals don't put up a fight.

Geno Smith is done. I think management was looking for every reason to have Geno Smith as the starter but Jawgate derailed that plan. Then he gets a chance to go in vs the Raiders and totally deflates any chance he might have had.

Raiders are a relatively young up and coming team. Good defense, serviceable QB, and some decent talent at the skill positions.

Tony Romo and the Cowboys played a bad game and beat the Philadelphia Eagles but Jordan Hicks may have gotten the last laugh (at least for this season) as the Cowboys have lost every single game since they played Philly. So now it comes full circle and the Cowboys will play the Eagles on Sunday Night.

Go Broncos!

I would not expect them to beat Denver but they are defiantly not a "garbage" team, the GM has drafted well and the coaches are doing a great job developing the players they have.

wow what happened, pretty tight scored game, turn away for a couple minutes and the bungles managed to double their score.

3 TD rec by Eifert will do that. Would make it a more well-rounded offense if Dalton say thew to AJ Green or one of his RBs from time to time, but hard to argue with results.

Manziel played pretty good for what there is on the team. He was named starter only a couple days ago, played against a 7-0 team, and gave up no Ints or Fumbles. Let alone almost had as many yards rushing as the main running back.

Cincinnati was able to adjust really well and kept what flame the browns had going into half time from growing. The browns had no such thing and showed how 1 dimensional they are.

yeah sorry, going 15/33 for 168 yards and 1 td is not playing pretty good imo. that sounds like some rg3 stats right there.

Look at his first half vs 2nd. That and only got reps with the starting squad for a day or so, playing a team that has a great defense, etc... He played better than most thought he could on that team. He was also less than 10uyeard from being their #1 rusher as well.

I rather disagree. I like to see my football team crush my enemies, see them driven before me, and hear the lamentations of their cheerleaders.

Last Sunday's Broncos/Packers game was the best I've seen in recent memory.

Expectations for Manziel weren't "pretty good" though but rather "likely catastrophically bad." That he didn't have a Josh Freeman style complete meltdown was a win given that. Forget the sunk costs of the first round draft pick and resources they've already put into him, and just remember for the Browns any level of performance above "holy shit he's not even backup QB material, we have to cut him immediately as he's a locker room cancer" is a win at this point.

I thought Manziel did OK. We all have seen Peyton Manning played worse this year, but the team still pulled out a win. The Browns just lost to a much better team.
