Possible good news on the Lewis injury, from the Pats Pulpit,
"New England Patriots fans held their breath when running back Dion Lewis went down against Washington with a mostly non-contact injury. Lewis has really broken out as one of the key members of the Patriots offense and with linemen dropping like flies, the team really needed their back who is best in space.

It turns out that initial checks reveal a less severe injury than initially believed. While the film led many to believe that Lewis suffered a season-ending ACL injury, the Patriots think it could be his MCL."

Game should have never gone to OT, probably 2 flags (at a minimum 1 that extended the drive) for the Cowboys that shouldn't have been thrown on that last drive.

Was really nice to see Cole Beasley step up in a big way, figured this would be a good year for him before Romo went out.

One of the better Cowboys games for fans (of good games) for sure.

Agreed, but ref calls ebb and flow for you and against you. If a team can't play through a little ref adversity, eh. There are always excuses and "what ifs?"

You weren't a fan of the drive that had defensive pass interference called on basically every single play (occasionally when defensive pass interference had actually occurred)? That's what the fans at home are anxious to see!

Yeah, the refereeing at the end was a shitshow, but you know what? It actually did elevate the drama between two middling-to-bad teams and it helped continue an affair that would otherwise be confined to the dustbin of two lost seasons. It ended up being a fun game, and you can't be too bitter about how it happened.

Also, Dez Bryant is a fucking beast. That one touchdown he grabbed, elevating over a scrum on a hail mary... holy shit. I mean, I'm generally in favor of the Cowboys losing, but Bryant had a hell of a game (bogus PI calls at the end notwithstanding). Dude can play.

All the others in that scrum, on both teams, had collided with each other and dragged each other down, so his "elevation" wasn't exactly "Jesus ascending into heaven" miraculous.

It did seem to go both ways overall, but not matter what team I'm rooting for I really hate seeing terrible calls in the last 2 minutes of the game. Some were justified, others were a slight pull on the jersey called as DPI. I hate that shit. Philly should have won in regular time, imo.

Wow, huge upset. What a moronic thing for Talib to do right in front of the Ref's, "I'll just poke him in the eyes, who's gonna see that?". If I were a Denver fan I'd be pissed as hell, they would have had a shot at scoring, that PM guy is pretty good.

There were some horrid D holding calls well worth calling, that one where I think it was Witten was basically tackled at the line, worth the call + some.

I think Cole Beasley had a MUCH bigger impact than Dez, although he had a really good game too. That catch in the end zone was beastly.

You're right. Pretty much everyone crashed into each other a second early while Dez got a proper jump on the ball, it's why his jump looked so much higher. He timed it perfectly, and the other 5 or so didn't.
