Effing Hulkenburg was again set for an awesome finish, but crashed, again. He has been, by far, my worst pick this season.

His previously impressive form of outperforming his car and being linked as a favorite to all the top teams seems to have gone up in smoke this season. He is turning into a DiResta of being average at best. Perhaps he got frustrated at always being turned down by the big teams for not having sponsor $$$ backing, and because he is also a taller/heavier driver.

Nico throwing the hat back at Lewis was also very noticeable, I can understand that he must have had so many emotions going on at that time but he's usually better than that. He probably regrets that was caught on camera. It must also be awkward to have Lewis be so happy and wanting to celebrate yet Nico is so pissed and upset. I would say Nico actually drove a bit better than Lewis during the race, though perhaps "faster" is the more appropriate word, as he also critically made a mistake entirely on his own which cost him the race. Lewis for sure deserved this year's championship.

If Nico has any reason to complain about Lewis it would have to be the start of the race when Lewis pushed Nico wide in the first turn. I have to believe it was simply both guys going harder and deeper into the turn, but I can see how Nico might have felt taken advantage of in that incident.

It surely must be obvious to Nico at this point that he's not in Hamilton's league and that on any given day Lewis is likely to beat him 80% of the time. Seeing Nico sitting there in silence you kind of get the feeling that Nico knows he'll never win the season with a teammate like Lewis -- or a dozen other drivers for that matter.

There were a couple times Lewis went over to Nico but he saw the resignation in Nico and walked away from him. Nothing to be gained forcing Nico to join him in the celebration...

Nothing about Brazil? Honestly, I missed it myself.

Also, I did hear Red Bull was sticking it out another year with Renault. Sucks for them.

Race was decent. No lead changes though. Nico Rosberg led from flag to flag. Hamilton just couldn't get close enough to attempt an overtake.

Some great battles further back though and Vettel finished on the podium.

I didn't get to watch the race, but with the post-race commentary, I don't feel like I missed much. I did watch quali for the most part, and that seemed to be more relevant for the result than the actual racing, in the end - there was barely any movement in the field.

Still, good to see Nico in resurgence, and Ferrari almost clinging on to Merc's performance. Still, compared to previous years, the field is miles apart.

The last 2 races were not all that exciting. Hamilton is not nailing pole position for the last 6 races, (which means Nico may actually get close to breaking the pole position record!). Then Hamilton would get very close to Nico during the race but difficult to follow and pass on the last tracks. Hamilton asked to team to give him alternative strategies during the race to give a chance at trying something different but the team denied him that. Hamilton also seemed to just not be as fast by a slight margin since winning the title.

Might mean a close battle for next year between him and Nico that could be even closer than it was in 2014 (which was close due to lots of mechanical failures for Lewis).
I'm torn, definitely a Lewis fan and would be cool if he continued to break more records, but a close battle would also be very spicy and most fans would prefer that.

Overall I give this year a 6/10 (compared to last year being a 9/10).

Red Bull's whining and bluffing has been the most annoying part of the year. I would not care if they leave the sport, so long as Ricciardo and Kyviat still have drives as they both deserve to be on the grid.

Mclaren is pretty sad too. Ron Denis has shown himself to still be a tyrannical liar, he seems like the the worst kind of boss to have. I don't know why Button is staying, neither driver is really enjoying themselves. I have no sympathy for Alonso even though I know he is one of the most talented on the grid. Magnussen should have Button's seat.

Verstappen was one of the highlights of the season. I have not been this excited to watch a new driver since Lewis entered the sport. He has outshone Magnussen and Kyviat as exciting newcomers. Magnussen deserves a drive too though.

It's sad to see the state of affairs at Lotus as well and the fact that the name may not be on the grid next year due to their constant financial woes.

Williams did very well but just lack that little extra oomph and consistency to really challenge for wins.

I finished 3rd in the AT Garage Fantasy league compared to my 1st place last year. I'm curious to see what strategies everyone used as this new system does not show what everyone chose while it was shown in the previous system. Hulkenberg cost me a lot of points.

Is is possible, Lewis, with his world championship already won, he is kind of just coasting through the races? I missed the last two races, but that wouldn't surprise me.

He was complaining about post-Singapore handling changes benefiting Nico. That does sound mostly plausible, though the car probably hasn't gotten any slower.

Well, another fantasy season, another second place. Not too shabby.

If Hamilton isn't winning, he's complaining.

Nice to see Nico setting the pace and ending the season with 3 wins in a row.

All of this bitching and complaining is just a ruse. I doubt a guy who has already captured his 3rd championship would care about if he's coming in 2nd or some team/car-favoritism. He's more focused on partying and crashing another Zonda than that chump Nico. I'm glad he's giving you guys and the media something to talk about, though.

Nico can scrape all that left-over poles and wins all he want, but until he has the balls to beat Lewis, he's not in the same league as Lewis.

Remember when he was leading COTA and somehow got shooked, turn wide and handed over the lead to Lewis? Yea...
