Watching Football in Hawaii was always kind of a fun thing, you could start watching pretty early in the morning.

That's why I like when they have the London games on, they start at 6:00 AM out here! Love it.

well skins sorta went to sleep on D this half.

sucks.

they're moving the ball now and this is an important possession, they need 7 here, not just a few 1st downs. GB has the Skins D out of sorts with power-runs and accurate passing by Rodgers, the offense needs to keep them off the field for awhile and score 7 as well.

Congrats to the GB fans, this team stepped up big time for this game, specially the O-line. Congrats due to the 'skins as well, they look like the class of that division going forward into next season, they just ran into a talented and determined GB team tonight.

You know, I kinda love the talking heads and pundits all dismissing the Chiefs' accomplishment of defeating 11 of their opponents in a row. They make it seems as if all the teams the Chiefs have played are high school teams.

I mean, if it's so freaking easy, why is that no team in the history of the NFL has ever gone 1-5 and then proceeded to go straight to the playoff on a 10 win streak after?

Funny thing is people kept complaining saying it was the bad QB holding the redskins back. But Cousins threw for 33% more yards, averaged more yards a throw, and had a better completion ratio than Aaron Rodgers but still lost.

So the redskins may have lost but they seem to be ok if Cousins can be resigned and play as well next year. Of course RG3 being let go is a sure thing now. I think most thought it was going to happen but the way Cousins played the last 8 games or so has put a nail in that.

Redskins also need to resign Morris, rb. He played much better when Cousins played well also. A upgraded O-line and Defense should help the skins next year. The eagles and Giants will have new coach's next year so the Redskins should have a good chance of a repeat at Division champs.

they did it wrong.
the Skins only needed 8-7 to clinch playoffs. (and ended the season 9-7)
see.. efficiency

Hey Skins fans, you like that? I liked that. Nice defense btw. You got pounded into oblivion by lacy, starks, and cobb as the pundits predicted. May want to draft some run stoppers next year, and oh btw a secondary to boot. Without Breeland that is a Div II college secondary. The pass rush was serviceable but that doesn't mean shit when you can't stop the run.

Was also glad to see the injury bug hit the Skins when it mattered most, they've been the luckiest by far regarding injured starters in the NFC Least. Statistical probability reared its ugly head at the worst time.

He's not the first kicker to miss close-range FG's either in a playoff game, Billy C missed a 30yrd FG that would have won the playoff game in the Ravens/Pats AFCGC a few years back. The Raven's coaches were upset however, and axe'd him quickly. None of us have ever known that kind of pressure and how hard it must be to keep your mind focused on a routine task at hand. Same situation happened with the Hill fumble IMO, he had to have known that the ball needed two arms wrapped up around it at that point in the game but the adrenaline got the better of him as he continued to try and push for extra yds that were totally irrelevant to the game.

Jumping in with some corrections...

The field goal was to tie the game and send it into overtime. Lee Evans had a "drop" (really I think it was just well defended) that would've put the Ravens ahead.

Billy wasn't axed quickly, he was kept through the entire off season and only let go once the rosters had to be trimmed; it's okay though, Cundiff to Tucker is a massive upgrade.

YaThink?

Sp33D has been aiming hard for this year's "emperus" trophy for the most incorrigible, logic-challenged, dumbshit superfan.

But he's got tough competition, yet again.

Still, he's the only remaining person that thinks Bradford is an NFL-quality QB. that is bonus points for him.

They had a pretty soft schedule. I mean cmon, the only win on their schedule worth a shit was their Denver win in a game where Peyton had 54323290 injuries (plantar fascia, ribs, shoulder) and threw 4 picks.
"So you've got to get to a point where (the injury) doesn't affect you, and it doesn't affect other parts of your body. That's my goal. Looking back on it, I probably played on it where it compromised me. And I know I don't play as well as I used to when I'm not feeling as well as I'd like."
Then they went on to beat the Steelers with... Landry Jones starting his first game over Big Ben who threw 2 picks and coughed up a fumble. Hell, their last 4 home games against losing teams either came down to the last possession or were decided with 2 minutes left.

Yes, they beat Houston but the Texans were missing Clowney, had a hobbled Watt with groin/hand at 50% or less, lost their best OT in Duane Brown and their QB sucks balls WITH Duane Brown healthy. So you do the math.

I'll give them credit for winning the games they should have won, but that is not something to be impressed by. Play a team without a backup QB with a winning record and then I'll be impressed. Luckily we'll get to see what they're made of in Foxboro and I'm guessing it's going to end with a big fat-like-Reid loss.

Redskins have been rather consistent and impressive the last part of the year to be sure. The GB that started the season finally showed up tonight after a mid-season vacation; but no one is surprised by this.

I mean, all standing equal, it's Cowboys or Skins next year, assuming Romo comes back to full form. But a lot can happen. The Cowboys were "supposed" to win the super bowl coming into this year, you know. It's the NFL, shit happens.

Well, it's pretty certain the Eagles will continue to suck balls next year. ....Unless they get rid of Bradford. Then they might have a winning season, at least.

PS: Bradford is a shit QB and will never start for a playoff team.

Romo will never be back to full form. Too many injuries that will affect his performance. He may get back to playing...but never back to what he was.

Bradford has always sucked. He has an occasional good game...then steps on his dick again.

Y'never know about the Redskins...(err...Washington Indiginous People.) They've been hampered by shitty coaches, (Gruden is pretty damned good) shitty to mediocre teams, (this year was better than in a long time) and not-so-great management decisions. They COULD become a pretty damned good team...or not.
