I just found this article on Burfict and after seeing what he has done it is surprising that he has not already been suspended. If he is not suspended after this there is no hope for the NFL.

Wow. watched all the Gif's they had loaded on that page, this has to be the dirtiest player in the NFL and it's not even close. He saw Brown as an opportunity for payback for the hit on Bernard (which was a tough smack but he didn't go for the head directly IMO). He had to have known this was going to a 15yrd gain for the Steelers, fuck winning the game, fuck my teammates who battled back all game long to finally get a lead. The NFL is going to come out looking like utter garbage unless he sits for an entire year. And to think Goodell wanted to bench Brady 4 games over allegedly knowing about deflated footballs.

Yeah hopefully we draft some offensive linemen and get Sullivan back. Waynes takes the next step and becomes a starter and the Vikes become the team to beat next year.

He's not the first kicker to miss close-range FG's either in a playoff game, Billy C missed a 30yrd FG that would have won the playoff game in the Ravens/Pats AFCGC a few years back. The Raven's coaches were upset however, and axe'd him quickly. None of us have ever known that kind of pressure and how hard it must be to keep your mind focused on a routine task at hand. Same situation happened with the Hill fumble IMO, he had to have known that the ball needed two arms wrapped up around it at that point in the game but the adrenaline got the better of him as he continued to try and push for extra yds that were totally irrelevant to the game.
