Pats are fortunate to be down 8. Played terrible the first half. Brady, needs to get his mind in the game. He forced that int throw whivh led to the Denver TD because he missed Gronk the play before. They need to give Collins help on the TE when Denver is in the red zone (maybe because he didn't practice much this week). He's gotten beat 2x already for TD's. The upside for NE is that Denver hasn't been that good on offense either. Hopefully NE changes their gameplan and comes out on fire in the 2nd half.

Depends where the clock is. If they miss the FG and there's time left then the other team can try to do something.

Have to admit that Denver's coaches have come up with a great game-plan so far. They are concentrating the coverage on the short-inside crossing routes that Brady usually thrives on and letting the excellent outside pass-rush have time to pressure, smash, and generally stop Brady from getting any rhythm together at all. Lining up Von Miller all over the place has also confused the O-line into playing worse than they usually do.

My biggest worry now is that Kubiak hasn't had good luck in the 2nd half when he had the lead. It's like he figures what he did worked so don't change it, and the opposing coach made the adjustments for it. Hoping the offense doesn't suddenly get stomped.

Yea, "flagrant" is a poor description but in any event he knows the rules just as the NE center you head-butted the dude after the whistle had blown costing your team 15yds from mid-field.

same. I like that all units for each team are making big plays. No one is truly fucking up--some botches on offense, but then some great plays for each; break downs on D, but then great plays later.

The defensive breakdowns or offensive failure (like that 3rd and 1 for Denver 4 plays ago that NE stuffed) are just situations of perfect D for that call--Denver runs right there was a big hole, etc.


and it looks like Brady is going to come out of this one in worse health than Peyton.
