Of course, everyone is looking at Dak and the Cowboys to see if they're the real deal. We see what teams and players are made of when the chips are down. As a saying goes: Palms gets sweaty, butts get tight" when you're in a one and done.

Here are the teams:

Sat Jan 14:
Seahawks @ Falcons - 4:15 FOX
Houston @ New England 8:15 - CBS

Sun Jan 15:
Steelers @ Chiefs -1:05 NBC
Packers @ Cowboys - 4:40 FOX

Some great games going on. The Texans/Pats game will be interesting because I think they're being wholesale written off.

3 good games and a blow out win by the Patriots i think....

Hopefully so, having Houston advance would be a travesty and honestly if they made the SB then I probably wouldn't even watch. That being said, of the remaining potential SB matchups here's how I'd rank them:

1. GB / NE: Two HoF QBs at the peak of their powers and both teams playing out of their minds the second half of the season. This could be an epic, all-time classic.

2. GB / PIT: Who needs a top defense when you have two elite offenses going at it?

3. ATL / NE: The teams should match up well on paper, although Carolina last year showed that a one-year wonder offense is ripe to be blown out in the big game. Would be great to see a new team win the Lombardy for the first time.

4. ATL / PIT: Would be entertaining. Same upsides as the GB/PIT game but wouldn't you rather watch Aaron Rodgers than Matt Ryan?

5. DAL / NE: Current dynasty versus possible new one. If Dak and Zeke weren't rooks I might feel more comfortable that the 'Boys season wasn't a mirage.

6. DAL / PIT: I get the nostalgia bowl angle but this ain't the 70s anymore and this game seems like a high probability of a blowout in either direction. Nobody but homers want to see the other team down by 30 at halftime. Some parts of the Rams/Titans or Pats/Seahawks games were boring but holy cr@p did the endings make up for it.

Houston has ultimate party pooper role here. Absolutely no-one is counting on them to do anything and they have far overachieved. Nothing to lose and playing with house money at this point.

GB vs. NE would have NFL giddy with excitement. The ratings would be off the chart.

I think the Seahawks can handle Atlanta if they play like last week. If the Packers beat the Cowgirls the NFC championship game is in Seattle.

If Brock Osweiler is the qb who would really give them a chance...no one

Seahawks @ Falcons
Houston @ New England
Steelers @ Chiefs
Packers @ Cowboys

I'd like to see the Falcons get to the Super Bowl, but it's hard to bet against the Seahawks.

First of all, I'm really looking forward to these games! Second, these are really difficult to pick base on who I want to see win vs realistic expectations. The Falcons for instance have been mostly disappointing in the past playoffs and Seahawks D is looking damn good. However, I think the Falcons are finally going to put it together this time around. I love their running game and I'm hoping Matt Ryan will be the MVP and will deliver a great performance. Then again if the Seahawks can hold the Falcons and Wilson does his usual 200-250 yards, 2 TD no mistake football then going to be a tough one.

NE has a win written all over it. Sure that Texans D is looking incredible even without JJ Watt but come on Osweiler sucks and the running game is average. If NE builds up an early lead it will be choke time for Mr Osweiler. As much as I'm sick of TB I don't see any issue of them advancing.

These other two games are really rough! I've always hated the Cowboys but have to love what the rookies have done this year. Maybe they choke in the playoffs though? Rodgers is unstoppable lately but how long can it last. I honestly don't care who wins this win but have a feeling the Packers will pull it out with Rodgers going nuts with 4 TDS. Packers have a good run defense and I think will hold Elliot to under 100 yards with 1 TD. Then again Elliot could go apeshit and run for 150 yards and 2 TDs while Prescott throws another 2 TDs

Chiefs and Steelers is another tough one. Have to love that Chiefs defense but the Steelers finally have a healthy trio of Ben, Brown and Bell. To me it depends if Bell can get it going. If he unleashes for 120+ yards and 2TDs then I don't give the Chiefs much of a chance especially if Ben and Brown hookup for a couple more. I'm not a fan of Alex Smith but damn that defense is nasty with a healthy Justin Houston.

Hopefully these games will be close. Please no blowouts!+

Not going Seattle's way today. Atlanta's offense is firing on all cylinders, and the injuries just keep on for Seattle.

So it's being called fairly for a change?
Gimme a fucking break...Seattle ALWAYS fucks themselves with penalties...that get called. (8th most in the league) The zebras fuck up calls, miss penalties all the time...on every team.

Why did the clock stop for ~10 seconds when he went out of bounds with 7+ minutes left? It then started up after the play clock had been counting down.

As long as somebody beats the Cowgirls I don't care much who wins. I wouldn't mind seeing Kansas City take it home though
