I'd argue the Redskins actually outperformed all expectations anyone should have had for them this season. The Redskins didn't choke, they just aren't good to begin with.
Last year they outperformed expectations because their division sucked, which means they had higher expectations this year. Before the season started I thought 8-8 or 9-7 was realistic for this season. They were right between so I think they did what a lot of realistic people expected them to do in the end, even after the great start.I'd argue the Redskins actually outperformed all expectations anyone should have had for them this season.
You had far higher expectations than many I'd guess. I pegged the Skins 4th, with the Eagles and Giants fighting for that second place spot. I expected the Cowboys to do 10 wins with a healthy Romo (was wrong on that one...). What 8 or 9 teams did you see them beating? The Packers? The Bengals? The Vikings? The Steelers? The division games could have been a toss up, because the NFC East does that for some reason, but those others? I mean, credit to them for beating some of those teams, but they certainly weren't expected to do that.Last year they outperformed expectations because their division sucked, which means they had higher expectations this year. Eagles I knew were going to suck. They blew it all up and had a rookie QB. Same with the Giants, I figured they would be bad with new coach and only upgrading defense. It showed that their offense sucked they couldn't score anything. Sure they had like 11 wins or whatever, but they were not as good as most 11 win teams, and it showed when they got bulldozed in the playoffs. Thought Cowboys would suck too when Romo got injured, no one knew Dak would play that way.You had far higher expectations than many I'd guess. Laughing my ass off at that immature piece of white trash Travis Kelce. Everyone's talking about his post game bitch fest about the referee holding call on Harrison. Wanna be gronk thinks that it cost them the game, forgetting about the dropped end zone catch he had. Or his 15 yard unsportsmanlike penalty. "Try to play this game with integrity" were the words out of the mouth of this class act.
I just learned this morning that this guy had his own Bachelor style reality TV show. The lowest of the low, no wonder he's not too bright. His fans aren't too bright either.
