Well, on the bright side, the spread between long and short maturity debt is getting more and more narrow so there's a chance you could see an inverted yield curve that would give you lower long term rates. Of course that tends to be a reliable indicator of a recession so . . . the gods of money give with one hand and take with the other.

I am in on both sides of the AMD v. NVDA battle. My hope is that Ryzen helps AMD and AI helps NVDA, which if that works out, would help make these two less correlated (sp?)

I think you will see $1 before you see $5 again. These old retailers are always empty when I walk through.

Which is exactly why over the weekend I did some soul searching and decided to dump it for $3.19 pre-market. I made enough to buy lunch.

Too bad I did not also follow my gut and short it - thought it was too risky!

I like playing with fire. Bought GE today.

I lost a fair amount in GE, but got out when Bloomberg mentioned the dividend cut being likely several weeks ago. I expect it to fall further and may buy back in at 14 - 16.

Did you dump your dirt stock OAS before it fell too? Doesn't look like any of your ideas have panned out. You said you were buying into that earnings report... it appears that was a terrible idea, as I pointed out. JCP is another example of your ambulance chasing tendencies.... who even would think that's remotely an intelligent investment? Why not at least buy a company that makes money like TGT? Then you could at least lose money slowly!

In related news, it looks like Norway has decided they're going to inverse your investment ideas and divest completely from oil.

What other terrible ideas do you have? I'm curious, I would like to know what foolish retail investors are thinking. You said you don't like AMD, right?

I sold Nov 10 calls and made a good premium on my shares last week, but decided not to write them this week. Worked fantastic... but I think AMD may be moving back into the 12s next week. It is such a great stock to sell options on. It was a great week for me, without a doubt.

If TSLA dips anywhere near 300 again I'm buying calls. What an amazing company.

Sold OAS at $10.99, a bit before the high of $11.30 last week. It has since fallen to a low of $9.60 before recovering to $10 today. I am currently avoiding the stock as the OPEC meeting is at the end of the month. It is either a GREAT SHORT from $10 back to $8 .... or ready for a run from $10 to $12 as we hit $60 a barrel....or conversely $50 or lower after the meeting. Either way, it is too risky to buy or short right now IMO.

As far as JCP is concerned.....SADLY I sold too soon. I bought back several thousand shares yesterday at $3.16 and dumped at $3.25 this morning for little change. It hit $3.29 and might be headed back to $4......however.....

I am taking a market holiday now and will not do any trading for a few weeks.

I've never had much interest in that stock. And since I do not understand it, I do not trade it. However I will also say that I bought DSW Shoe Warehouse when it fell on a downgrade a few weeks ago to $17.99 on 11/2/17 and sold at $19 a short time later.......IT HIT $22 TODAY!!

But that too is probably a stock you would never trade.

Who's cashing it now, all time high?

Yeah I thought the bottom was near last month, still had another 20% drop since. Thankfully only got 3 shares lol.
Don't you hate it when you end up owning a literal handful of shares in a company, and it's not AMZN or GOOG?

Why did I sell JCP? Now it's $3.40!
I went on a spending spree at JCP.com on CyberMonday. Cheap clothes!

Good for you! JCP has a great selection of dress slacks and polos that I wear to work. Not to mention dress belts and jeans - all at relatively good prices.

I bought some JCP Jan 3.50 calls and shorted this weeks JCP 3.50 calls against it. Hopefully I wont have to panic cover.

Buy and hold!

I sure wish I had......JCP hit $3.70 today!!!

That is kinda what I was wondering too, riskier move, but I could buy a bunch more and hope they go up more.

At one point they were like $7. Could potentially go back up to that.

What I regret not doing is buying into Bitcoin... they're at like what 10k now?! It's crazy.
