RE: GB/Vikings

Just how are you suppose to tackle the quarterback? Matthews tackled as perfect as you can expect and still got called roughing the passer. This changed the game entirely.

I think they could've called that on each team today in the Steelers/Chiefs game but they didn't either time. Seems really discretionary, which is a recipe for disaster as its going to happen in the biggest games at the worst times.

Also, WTF is with that shitty Stella Artois commercial (the one where the guy goes up to the counter talking on two phones at the same time, and then the bartender pushes the foam off the top and they cheer). I don't understand what they're actually cheering or I'm supposed to be impressed by. Their foamy piss beer that needs the head cut off? The bartender being able to operate a butter knife? The dipshit "overworked everyman"?

LOL! Viking kicker just needed a chip shot to win and in true Vikings fashion misses.

Hahaha, awesome.

Hey purbeast, how do you Vike that?

I don't understand the Stella Artois commercial either. All I know is that Stella Artois is one of my least favorite beer.

Damn, can ya tell the Jags are playing with a chip on their shoulder? Impressive throw by Bortles. Their offense looked downright competent, which has been awhile for Jacksonville (since what David Gerard and MJD back in like 2006?).

Sitting in nice A/C (even though its probably almost as hot if not hotter, but waaaay less humidity) here is so much better than being in that shit. I'd have worn swimtrunks and a quick-dry shirt and take a light waterproof jacket and begged for rain at that game. Wonder if they'll have long lightning delays if it does rain, looked like a thunderstorm might be rolling in.

Haha, and Brady is like the anti-PManning, he loses in the heat.

Wow, Jags looking impressive. Bortles looking good, the WRs looking great, and Grant (not familiar with him?) looks like a good fit too.

Oh, just realized its Romo. Earlier when the one announcer was going crazy over the (admittedly awesome) catch by the Jags receiver, I was like, who the hell is that? He sounds like some guy in his 20s.

Wow, Stafford again coughs the ball up. But at least we held them to only 3 points. Offense, struggling.

Yeah...anyone else think the Vikings might be looking for another kicker?

I'm glad he DID miss all 3 tries though...and thought the Matthews roughing call was bullshit.

Didn't they just have a kicker that prevented them from winning a playoff game like a couple of years ago? Walsh?

WTF was that play call Reid? They should've had a screen pass ready for the aggressive Steelers D. Chiefs don't have a real power run game.

Well, hopefully Mahomes can overcome Reid seemingly trying to lose games with stupid playcalls and poor management.

Yeah it was blatantly illegal (even Fouts who often tries to go out of his way to not give the Chiefs too much credit was like "that was clearly over the line of scrimmage). I'm used to them not calling blatant holds on the Chiefs, but still kinda pisses me off when they're as ridiculously blatant as some of the ones today.

Seems like Reid must've called the league office because they've tightened up (and now they're calling the Steelers for defensive holds). Plus its hard to not call their defensive off sides. Did think they might dick them on that one TD pass (one ref called it a TD the other said incomplete, but they overturned it and ruled it a TD).

But this is why I already love Mahomes. It doesn't matter if the refs are calling against you, Mahomes will make them pay.

The defense is so bad though. I won't be surprised if they give up a 700 yard passing game this year. But again, Mahomes doesn't care, he's more than happy to play gunslinger. Anything your QB can do, Mahomes can do better. He's gonna be a bad, bad man in this league.
Yea, very impressive for the guy, he looks like a keeper for sure.

If Thomas wouldn't DROP THE FUCKING BALL SO MUCH the Broncos would have had a better offensive game. He's got the most aggravating butter fingers of any starting receiver I can think of

Finally finishing the Dallas/NYG game. I’ve never been a “Baby Eli” fan...but holy shit...they played terribly tonight.

His 2nd season doing this, Romo still hasn't realized that he isn't on the field during the game.
