Years ago I bought GM, NXXIQ, and IAGI, all of which got obliterated.

I usually just have stocks die a long, lingering death that usually takes several years. If you sort your portfolio by value, they sink to the bottom and after a while you don't even see them unless you don't scroll down far enough and fast enough to hit the options section.

I'm guessing it is another yo-yo day like yesterday. I was up $38K for most of the day, then finished up only $928.37.

Do most of you guys buy individual stocks or index funds? I buy mostly stocks.

Since when? This dip just took us back to early Jan.

Twitter popping 25% higher this morning after reporting their first ever profit. Stock is trading at around $33.75, up almost $7. I thought the price strength in Twitter was little suspicious the past couple of months. I guess all the insiders knew this was coming.

Yesterday, Snapchat popped over $6 after their earnings. Not a fan of the stock or the company but that's the risk of crowded short play. Even if you hate the company, if it's crowded, it's better to leave it alone or take the other side of the trade.

I rather spend $20,000 on hookers and blow than trash like SNAP. What happened yesterday with SNAP and Twitter today is nothing more than shorts being squeezed like OJ. SNAP is still worthless trash and it's still worth zero.

i loaded up on AAPL 4/20 165 strike Calls when it dipped to 156. Already up 30%


Hoping for 300%+ gains if AAPL can rally back to all time highs before April 20th

That was on Tuesday just from that one buy. It's dipped back to where I bought in. Which means I just bought bit more. I should just buy in every month instead of trying to time the market, but it's a long term hold I don't plan on touching for at least a decade.
