Also the midterms. There's still a chance the GOP keeps both. If that happens maybe you'll get Tax Cuts 2 to keep the pumping going.

October tends to be a bad month, but Nov - Dec give us the Santa Claus rally, so I think we are going up from here.

My portfolio was up 17% percent today thanks to TSLA. Some of my options are up 200% today alone. Looking forward to taking some profits thursday and putting them into some short term TSLA puts to take advantage of whatever the FUDsters put out to stop TSLA from breaking 350. You know it's coming.

Everything in this report is old news to Tesla longs. There's nothing new in this report except the same exact news is spun positively instead of negatively. It's amazing what basic information passes as research on Wall St. His future price target is little more aggressive than mine. With 20% margin and 5 million cars a year, I've modeled about $2,500 share price. Citron models $3,271 share price at 20% margin and 5 million cars a year.

The sell off is not over. We will probably rally here and there but we are due for more selling as Asia continues to implode. The market is unpredictable however short term and anything can happen, as everyone knows.

Since Trump was elected the stock market has rallied 28%. Even if it fell by 50%, it would average out to 7% a year over two years in office. Considering the major overhauls of our economy in progress, thats not bad. With more Americans making things, that means more income to help the economy in the long term.

Also, the business cycle has ups and downs (just like everything else). Nothing, even under the best conditions, goes up forever. There will be pullbacks. Big ones like 2008-2009 (62% pullback). As it turns out, however, those are long term buying opportunities to accumulate shares. Average in.

Buying on the way down is always hard but once the contraction starts and ends, things will be get better. By Trumps last year in office in 2024, the economy should be much bigger than it is now and it will be more focused on domestic reliance than global outsourcing.

I've been investing since 1990 and trading since 1998 and I've pretty much seen it all. Long term we will be fine.

The US was neck deep in debt when Trump was elected. He's just taken it to the next level. It's basically a game now to see how far they can continue to pile up the debt without the whole thing asploding.

Earnings seem ho-hum so far, but no reason that alone explains this quick dip. I have decided that is impossible to predict investor reactions to AMD earnings from quarter to quarter.

I'm really surprised at Tesla numbers. I expected break even or minor profit at best for this 3rd quarter. Tesla crushed it and earned $2.90 a share and earned adjusted $516 million for the quarter. They had $881 million in free cash flow for the quarter. The short narrative is OVER. Tesla reported over 20% gross margin on the Model 3. This is with less than 5,000 Model 3 per week. Elon said Tesla needed to be at 10,000 Model 3 a week to hit that. It's going to be insane once Tesla hits 10,000 a week next year. If Tesla did this for the 3rd quarter, 4th quarter is going to be insane. 4th quarter was supposed to be the big breakout quarter. Tesla reported 4th quarter like number this 3rd quarter. Given Tesla free cash flow and earnings this quarter, Tesla won't need to borrow to repay the debts that's coming due. Elon said so and no one including myself believed him. But based on this 3rd quarter numbers and even better expected 4th quarter coming up, Tesla won't need to. They are now real car and tech company. This is historic moment for Tesla.
