BILI dropped below the strike price in the last hour of trading yesterday but whoever held my puts evidently decided not to exercise them. I can't remember the last time that happened. It's been a few years.

The thought must be that BILI is going up pre-market on Monday.

What was the strike, 12.50? Maybe too close for the exercise costs?

I've never bought an option in my life so I don't know the specifics of exercise costs.

The strike was 12.50, it closed at 12.43. I sold 10 puts for almost $1000 so the option holder would only have recouped $70. Still - why not, unless they think BILI is going up before open on Monday?

I've had puts exercised for similar amounts. What the hell, I'm diving back in on Monday.

Right now the 10/19 contracts are selling for $90. Hopefully they go up.

BTW, Fed meets in two days. Hike is likely although I suppose they could get rid of the range and set the target to 2.25.

I read enough about BILI to double down. This week I sold 20 10/19 12.50 puts when BILI was down around 12. I got $2600 out of it.

Let's see if I'm a genius or a dumbass.

Looks like I sold my NVAX too soon. I bought a bunch of it when it was down in the 1.30's. After watching it drift back and forth it finally popped yesterday so I sold at $1.80.

It's up to $2 now.

So the feds did raise the rate to 2-2.25. Maybe another hike this year.

Edit: 30 year mortgage at the local banks is up to 4.75%.

Sucks, I've been enjoying my 2.75% for quite some time. Now were going to probably have to move in the next 1-2 years and probably have to have 5%+

I wonder if were going to have another mortgage crisis with adjustable rate loans skyrocketing up.

Man, BB&B is in a tough spot, aren't they.

They have to phase out those coupons somehow but if they do it'll probably cause a loyalist revolt.

I was in there not too long ago and every single person waiting in line was buying a single item with the 20% off coupon. About 7-8 people.

One of the things the SEC seeks to do is permanently remove Musk from any position of authority at Tesla (including discouragement of all profits related to his fraudulent statements - with interest). Being that bulls see Musk as the soul of Tesla, if the SEC is successful in forcing his ouster - TSLA, as a company, is likely to be seriously disabled until another credible leader (like Tim Cook) can be found.

I love it. Gold is getting whalloped because the Greenback is rallying strongly. If gold goes under $1100 Im buying.

yeah, that's the kind of behavior that stodgy billionaire investors and portfolio managers really like to see at the top of the company. Musk is probably toast, which really sucks for Tesla, imo. I want those folks to take off. Maybe Musk really is getting in their way...

Given that the SEC's original deal was for Musk to step aside completely for 2 years, I'd say he got off easy. A big Tesla investor must have convinced the SEC that Tesla was screwed without Musk, and probably is right.

I wonder what kind of stunt Musk will pull next. Musk is a drama addict. He wants to be able to say and do anything (like Trump) and suffer no consequences. The difference is Trump has been doing this at least since the 1970s. He was at war with the city of New York, local politicians and the media all at the same time day in and out for YEARS. Thats forty years of experience.

Musk is an amateur by comparison. Maybe by 2030 or 2040 he will get the hang of it.

I am no fan of Jeff Bozos and do not do business with Amazon (havent since 2011), however he at least knows how to keep his mouth shut and just run a company well.

Maybe Musk can follow his example.
