I bought some STNE because if its good enough for Buffet it's good enough for me I guess.

Here's a play for anyone that has some cash lying around: STNE is sitting at 32.50 right now. I don't know what it's going to do pre market but the 4/18 35 calls are sitting at $170 each right now.

If you buy 1000 shares, sell the 35 calls , and it goes over you'll make $4200 on 4/18 (assuming no big swings before Monday). That's 13% on your money in one month.

As always - do your research.

So I finally bought some cannabinoids. Expensive! Slight intoxicating effect, improved sense of hearing - more depth to sounds. Things seem more interesting. More relaxed. Although you do have to stay focused, its easy to get lost in your own thoughts.

There just might be money in them.

It was an over the counter health supplement. As far as demanding my money back, I think in the end $27 was a fair price, although more than I am used to spending for other supplements such as Centrum vitamins, Panax Ginseng or organic crystallized ginger slices.

Come to think of it - health food places charge an arm and a leg for everything.

I bought shares at $17 back on Dec. 21st. I'm hanging on to them for a while.

I grabbed mine at $4.65, pretty much wish I sold at ~$33 last summer, so basically waiting for that to happen again. ....but like buying an AMD GPU, it's "cross fingers and wait for driver updates" or "Cross fingers and wait for Rome."

My fear is that it won't hit that $33 mark again - which in hindsight i think was overpriced at the time.

yeah it was definitely overpriced at the time. There was also another share dilution right after that which brought the price way back down again...didn't it hit $10 or 12? Pretty remarkable that it's climbed back up to where it has again. ...but like Tesla, I think it's all unicorn farts.

Gold finished nicely. I am up to 5 ounces of gold and 20 ounces of silver:

Since the Fed is getting a little too dovish for my taste, and politicians keep putting us deeper in debt, we might see gold set all time highs one day.

One dollar used to represent a buck of silver/gold. Thats how you knew it had value. It took $32 to buy an ounce set by the government. Now a dollar is just paper and it takes 1300 of them to buy an ounce.

We are getting paid in promissory notes, not gold. It used to be okay before we got ourselves $21T in debt!

Selling... still... looks tempting.

I'd like to wait until at least April - at that point I would at least have partial long term capital gains, so less taxation.

Indeed - however hindsight is always 20/20.

It's only a mere 7% tax difference though, so it's definitely still tempting.

I think I'll be comfortable enough sticking it out for now. AMD seems rather stable - especially since investors got a hard-on for them signing the new deal with Google.c

I lost some money today but I don't mind it so much. Can't always go up.

It drives up the price of puts as well. Some good opportunities.

For instance - STNE 4/18 35 puts have doubled to almost $100 a contract (it's sitting at like 41.5 right now). I'm not going to run into anything but for right now it looks like they could be a good buy somewhere down the road.

The Tax Cuts and then the Fed saying they would stop increasing rates have saved the stock market for now. Do you think the Dems will pass more tax cuts? I don't think so... so it's up to the Fed to cut rates if the junkies need another hit to avoid the crash.
