Anyone own Xilinx? AMD feels pretty overextended at this point.

lol everything feels overextended at this point. One of the reasons I'm just kinda watching from afar.

Yet it makes me keep thinking aaaaaaaaaaany day now theres gotta be some kind of correction. Nope.

I do my index funds that I normally do, but I just don't feel right playing with individual stocks right now.

So the other day I bought BYSI an $27. Got my ass kicked the next day and sold at a loss at $23 ($4500 loss) so I could chase SAVA (made back $2000).

This morning I woke up and my gut told me to buy back BYSI premarket even though the chances of getting my ass kicked again was high. I even had to chase the stock to get all the shares I wanted. Sold them all today for $7500 gain.

I think BYSI may be a $40 stock one day. Do your own research, I could be wrong. Also they are pre revenue so it could be a very long wait with a trip under $20 first.

I am hesitant as well. I will likely just continue to DCA small amounts through whatever corrections come our way. Tax loss harvesting is a thing as well.

Speaking of tax loss harvesting... I thought I read the other day there is a loophole that may be closed soon that will allow people who bought bitcoins or altcoins at high prices to do a wash sale (sell and buy back immediately) and apply those losses to future gains. You will want to research first before assuming this is true. Also the IRS has been known to punish people retroactively who took advantage of quasi legal loopholes.

I don't own crypto but that made me wonder if this may have added to the recent volatility.

Can you imagine being one the richest persons in the world, at the reigns of an ambitious car company among other things and living in small home in the middle of nowhere overseeing the next stage of human development?

Here he is taking someone on an extended tour of his space facility a few days ago talking about his rocket engines and saying that "humanity will be a multi planet species":

The time index is set to that part I mention. Two minutes later you can get a feel for what its like to be him with all the machines working, beeping, buzzing, banging and trying to keep your thoughts clear amid all the noise to explain the technicals of his rocket and "reducing the cost per ton of thrust to under $1,000".

Eyeing Victoria's Secret and Co. intently. No, not in that manner. Females that wanna look hot are gonna spend dough and they've brought in new management to put a new candy wrapper to sell that message.

They got a looooooooooong way to go IMO.

They are in a transition process from a market entirely based on "being sexy" to.....well.... joe blow women. Entirely different market, and transitioning to that customer-base overnight isn't an easy task IMO.

Their items are overall overpriced with quality that has massively deteriorated over the years - they survived entirely on their brand image - but now they are abandoning that.

I honestly don't see any kind of big future for them - at least not anytime soon.

Well, it depends on if new batch of Gen Z girls let the brand trigger their biological urges to be "hot" with their new message.

They are trying to reel in a wider audience but they still employ and trot out Taylor Hill as the hot one; she was there from the old regime.

They're putting fat chicks in all their advertisements now. They've officially gone woke and abandoned the "sexy image". They got rid of the fashion show, their models are now tubby, it's gone and tarnished.

Going more "mainstream" also means abandoning the sexy-expensive narrative, and means trying to be more affordable to every-day women.

My wife used to love and swear by their bras when she was in her younger years - and I've felt first hand (hehe) where they just used cheaper materials over-time.

So... in my opinion of course.... I doubt they are in for a good time anytime soon. There's also just always the negatives of being a mostly retail store.

Well, given that Rhianna's lingerie brand Savage, which has followed the principles VS is now trying to at least somewhat follow, has been instrumental in competing and winning against VS, would it not make sense that the buyers that matter are not afraid to put the money down in the face of such ads?

They do need to focus on quality or else the marketing will not sustain the business.

The thing is that for every thinner young lady who thinks she's all that, she likely has a friend or two not as photogenic or outright fat. Instead of just that one woman buying Pink or whatever, they've got three teens willing to fork money in the brand.

BTW, Jesus must have put some holy water in the stock or wallstreetbets got to it , because it has exploded today.

My micro-investment in ASML has appreciated handsomely in less than a year. I put $2k down in late November @ $427.19/share and now it’s above $789/share for ~$1700 gain.

Didn’t realize it at the time but apparently they control over 90% of the EUV lithography market.
