I tend to have this annoying habit of selling things at the very bottom of any given market. For example, I had some oil co's in the mix a few years ago. They had been dragging ass for years. So I deemed them "underperforming." Russia then attempts to invade Ukraine. SMH
This time, I did a partial redemption of the Vanguard Total Stock Market Index Fund at pretty much the top of the market. Oh my, what a refreshing change.
Even so, it's going to be about 2 weeks before they settled the transaction, put it into the money market fund, then request the check and have the bank hold it for 3 days. You'd think I was trying to sell a black market baby.
