I believe the only difference is that the IC7 does not have the CSA Gigabit LAN and 2 less SATA connectors from the SiliconImage chip.

The IC7 has NO onboard LAN, only 2 SATA connectors vs. 4 (uses the Intel ICH5R controller), and no SPIDF IN port

How would anyone know? I doubt that anyone has received their IC7 yet....

What is N/B strap CPU? Its a feature in Soft Menu. And is there any reason to disable unused CPU clock? And how do you disable on board sound?

According to the Zalman web forums, the CNPS7000 will fit on the ABIT IC7.

Now, can anybody tell me if SATA cables are included in the box??? They seem to be with all the other 875P mobos out there, but I can't verify it for the ABIT.

I know 2 are included with the IC7-G. Abit posted picks of the packaging in their forums. I would think the SATA cables come with the IC7 also since it has SATA integrated on the southbridge. I can confirm tomorrow when I get my board.

And MAYBE no SPDIF IN port. A press release stated there was not an SPDIF IN port on the IC7 - but the specifications say there are BOTH OPTICAL IN & OUT SPDIF connectors on the IC7.

My IC7 will arrive tomorrow and I'll report back

The Zalman WILL fit the AOpen and the Asus. All the Canterwoods seem to be based on similar spacing from the reference board, so the Zalman is likely to fit the Abit. The excellent Thermalright SLK-900 will generally fit boards that have active Northbridge cooling - they are generally short enough the SLK-900 and will fit, and the ones with the HUGE TALL passive northbridge sink (like Asus and Intel) block the SLK-900.
