That means US pricing will be somewhere around $220. That's 10% over reference.

It's nice they space the timing apart, give the 480 it's time in the media, then the 1060, then the customs.

You have to take the 20% off the $277 for VAT. That brings the 4gb down to $221.

So the powercolor tomorrow according to that coming soon page on their site. That probably leaves the nitro for the 29th. I have to be at work at 4am tomorrow so I may try and see if I can find the devil card.

Because of the way the GTX 1060 boosts I don't really expect much gain from aftermarket cards other than better coolers. I think aftermarket 480s could definitely match aftermarket 1060s if they are indeed binned better.

The IPC nightmare is back I guess!!!
So... if the clock is so low.... and they still manage to defeat nVIDIA at higher clocks... that could mean that the IPC is better?

lol if those gains are true on Doom Vulkan it's faster than a 1070.. :biggrin:

Because from rx480 -> OC rx480 Nitro+ = 26%

And rx480 ref. -> 1070 is 10.6%

rx480 ref. -> Fury X is 30% so it's actually pretty damn near Fury X performance.

Nvidia needs almost 700mhz higher clocks to get the same performance not that is actually matters. Will be interesting to see how much higher Nvidia and AMD can go as their respective processes mature.
