Got it from a local computer shop here in Toronto. They board I was using was an Epox 8k5a2+ which I have now replaced with an Abit NF7-S because the epox was limiting the overclock I could get with this CPU

That is a great overclock, but that 1.95v is going to do that chip in a little early I would suspect. What are your temps?

Xp2100 AIUHB 0301 @ 2.2Ghz @ 1.7v

My CPU runs 60c at full load. Damn this case. The air flow in it sucks. Would have oc higher if not for the stupid case.

I haven't messed too much with it, since I only got it last night. Pretty much running this high right off the bat, Prime95 is stable through a few tests. I don't like to run my computer on torture tests when I'm not around, especially when I first get the watercooling setup... so I will mess with it more and update as I overclock more. Outrageously fast, though.

Stepping:
(I forget, but it's 1.5v default)
JIUHB:0307VPMW

Stable (running) speed:
2200Mhz
11 x 200
1.70v

Motherboard
Abit NF7-S v2.0

RAM
1x512 Twinmos PC3200 @ 200mhz
2-2-2-6

Cooler
SK7 with 32cfm panaflo

Temps
64-70C Full Load
I wish there was some kind of consensus on temps...

Notes
This board undervolts quite a bit. I see 1.63-1.66v most of the time. I really can't be sure about the temps, so I've been reluctant to turn up the voltage much to go for 2300Mhz. Last night I gave it a try @ 2300, 1.75v (1.70v actual) and it booted fine. Primed for about 5-10 minutes, heating the CPU to 73C before I got a BSOD and a reboot, free of charge. I hear the NF7-S v2.0 reads hot, but I don't know HOW hot. I should have much lower temps than this.

okay...

1.85volts actual... 1.93 in bios...

12.5 x 200 = 2500....

priming right now...

temps up to 56C's ... still 2C's lower than my slk800 @ 1.875volts...

so this is pretty good...

Man, you temp is too high. Try to lower it to low 50's full load.

how do you figure?

you have mults up to 12.5

you can still run 12.5 x 184 = 2.3 ghz but i dont' think you have too much room left considering you're at 1.775 volts already

I am so Excited! I have been working on this plan for 2 weeks now and finally have it all together and it thankfully meets my expectations! 15600 3DMark01 no trouble and still running Prime95 (been about 2 hours so far)...

Soooooooooo! is it better to stay at 2200 with a Cas2 than go to maybe 2300-2400 at Cas2.5?? Or what about lowering multiplier for higher frequency? Im guessing that i should stay right where I'm at... comments and suggestions welcome! Thanks to everyone here at Anand Tech for contributing and being so helpful with everything! this place is the BEST
