Sorry but my man card is intact. I am only voting for Sanjaya to further the Howard Stern/votefortheworst agenda - I don't give a crap about any of the contestants this season. I will vote at least 20 times for Sanjaya every week he stays in the contest. On the bright side, it has the collateral effect of putting his smokin' hot sister on TV from time to time!

Part of the problem is the way the competition is setup. They really can't go outside of their comfort zone for fear of being voted off.

Once they are have the top ten they should have a show where there is no voting, but they are FORCED to sing outside of their comfort zone.

have america vote for the type of song they have to sing.

Sanjaya is just getting ridiculously bad. The judges don't even say anything to him anymore.

Haley always looks great, unfortunately she isn't that great of a singer.

I'm really liking Gina lately. I like her look and she's starting to sound really good.

Jordin disappointed this week.

Blake is going to be tough to beat but is anyone else annoyed by his little puppy eyes and head weaving during every single song.

Richardson is a boy band wanna be.

Lakisha will get in the top 4-5 but won't win b/c she doesn't look good.

Phil just looks really, really odd for some reason. Kind of like a cancer patient but not really....hard to explain.

In all fairness (I like the guy and think he's genuinely witty), he was horrible last night. For my part I'll keep voting for Sanjaya.

On a related aside, whose bright idea was it to make the contestant voted off sing the very song that earned them their fate? I think Chris Sligh is pretty talented, but his version of "Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic" sucked last night and it sucks again tonight. It seems cruel for the contestant and it's unpleasant for the audience as well.

I think they need to change the voting when there are nine and five contestants left. For those two weeks, people should vote for the worst performer. Whoever gets the most votes has to leave.

That would take care of the VFTW issue.

I don't think they are getting more than about 10-15% of the vote total and probably less. That's enough to keep a person off the bottom in the current system, but not enough to outvote the rest of the voters looking for the worst singer.

I also agree with the prediction you made earlier that an African American girl will win this year. It is so obvious that the judges stacked the competition to make it more likely. The African American girls on the show are in a league of their own based upon their singing ability alone.
