i hate this! what are you all accomplishing? as sad as it sounds, i actually LOOK FORWARD to watching american idol every week, and when it's not on, i'm anticipating the next season of american idol.

usually america gets it right in picking someone with some talent, but this year with the number of unscrupulous voters, i'm worried.

LOL You realize that they intentionally let bad singers get on the show, right? All of the people who make it to the final 30 or so are not good singers and that's by design. They do that so that the judges can continue to be rude to the untalented and, therefore, make the show entertaining. That way they can keep the viewers hooked who enjoy the first few weeks of the show during the auditions.

The producers are the ones who pass the untalented through to the finals and it is THEY who do a disservice to many people who could sing circles around most of the "singers" you see now.

Let's face it, the producers decide who they want to win early on and this season I agree with Queasy's prediction that they want an African American female to win. Look at the lineup - the only good singers this season all fit that description.

This show is rigged, therefore, I say go ahead and vote for Sanjaya. IMO, the sheep vote is when you go along with what the producers want. Don't let them pull your strings.
