The judges had nothing good to say about Lakisha trying to pull off a Fantasia song. I'm thinking she's gone.

I am thinking Jordin is going to take the whole cake though, too.

Melinda is just in a league of her own. She is just so far ahead of the rest it is not even funny. Now this being American Idol means she probably won't win since that is what fans like to do. But it is not even close. She has a voice that the others dream of having.

Lakisha did very well at the beginning but really hasn't be nearly as good since.

I think Jordin will wind up in second with Blake thrid, the rest don't matter.

The only reason I can think of would be that the votes were really really close and the phone lines were too busy (because of the donations thing).

I think it's the dress, but that's beside the point. What a fantastic performance. I really don't believe that any Idol winner since has even come close to touching Kelly's skill and talent. Certainly not anyone this year. She's just in a different league.

The only reason I can think of would be that the votes were really really close and the phone lines were too busy (because of the donations thing).

They said it was because they didn't want anyone to leave on that show (Idol Gives Back), or something like that. They had Chris and Jordin up as the last two (they didn't do a bottom two or three). They told Chris he was safe, and everyone was quiet. Then they said Jordin your safe. The final six did a song and it went off.

Sort of odd, but I guess I understand the reason behind not voting someone off tonight.

Tonight's show was so lame. Made me watch and fast forward my VHS till the end for nothing. Well, one thing...

Maybe it was the emotion or the parts they were given but during that last song, one could hear Jordin and Melinda sing one after the other and Jordin sounded like utter crap compared to Melinda. Huge contrast.

What a POS show. Carrie's song was good, the rest bordered between forgetable to abysmal.

It's a shame that 2 will get booted next week, Jordin going now would have been a nice surprise.
