frankly i thought it was not just his worst performance, i thought it was a bad performance, i'll be shocked if 6 or 7 performers tonite aren't better than that.

I think that he needs to pick better songs...he's a little too ambitious. One bad night like tonight and you really see how thin the line is between success and failure. The majority of his songs so far have been in minor keys and an extremely high key...I thought that "Butterflies" was too much of a gamble, but luckily he had his looks to rely on...that's no longer true, as the competition is much harder now.

I'm betting that most of the performances will suck tonight. Steve Wonder songs are not easy to sing.

Elliot's already performed one successful Stevie Wonder song, I think he should be one of the best tonight...Kellie's performance is very boring, but she did well...and looking good as usual. (so illegal...)

frankly, i'd never really heard much of stevie wonders music, i don't know a single song i've heard yet. i never realized how intricate and difficult his stuff was till tonite.


it's surprising he was even popular based on the difficulty of his music.

Not as great as his previous SW performance, but still a good effort...I think that the uncertainty of how America votes will be greatly in play this week, as SW's songs do not have a traditional structure, and unless someone sings a well known standard, the songs could easily be misjudged.

Lisa reminds me of Aaliyah...she should go pretty far in the competition, even if today's performance was good, but not great.
