Is that why they still get 23 million votes per week? Is that why their Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday shows are the top spots in ratings, along with NCIS thrown in the mix?

Granted, I'm not loving this season as much as others. But when they get 100 million people voting in the finale...well I think it's something you can sell to companies looking to buy advertising on your network. Without Simon it will definitely go downhill though.

I get that, it's probably 5 million friends, family, and 12-15 year old girls that are voting 20 times each....but take a look at the ratings.

Lacey got the boot. bottom 3 were Lacey, Tim, Paige (Tim was made safe before bottom 2)



I thought it would be b/w Tim and Lacey, fully expecting Tim to go.

I'm kind of surprised the "straight up" guy wasn't in the bottom. I actually think Tim is getting better but still isn't as good as most of the others.

I think Paige is good but not super likeable for whatever reason. Also, Didi annoys me.

This is the worst set of contestants ever. It feels more like a 1st season show than anything.

Or maybe last years contestants were just that good.

Crystal Bowersox has "it". Girl can sing. She can get booted tonight and have a successful recording career, no doubt. Paige Miles and Andrew Garcia cannot get the boot quick enough. Let's hope they do another two-for-one boot off this year.

Last night was terrible. The only ones that I liked were Aaron and Casey. Did anyone else notice all the song picks were old songs? Out of all the Billboard #1's they couldn't pick better songs? Makes me wonder if they were limited in their selections due to legal issues.

Yeah, I noticed that too. No one had a good night at all last night. I think if some of them had performed like that during the auditions, they wouldn't have even made it past round 1.

They called themselves "siobhanzies" like zombies and were Siobhan's friends all dressed up in zombie-ish makeup but the one chick really stood out before with the blood on the face.

Have been only watching result shows lately, and mainly to see the actual performers.

Outside of 3, maybe 4 of the contestants, they are by and large extremely dreadful. The group sings are terribad and ford should be asking for a refund for what they are doing to their image for the in show ad skits.

After no talent last week anyone would have been better this week, and little miss hannah was better but I don't listen to much of her so didn't recognize the song. But damn she must be short, she was a good 4 or so inches under ryan and he's on the below average of the height scale as it is.

That duet pair thing they had was also god awful to a new level. Boring ass vocals and the dude had a shitty suit on, with that shimmering type reflective material don't have the suit cut so it fits you like a jogging suit.

And is it too late to get a judge change. Ellen is just soo boring and kara has done everything lately but hop on simon's lap and stick tongue down his throat trying to prove she's better than paula: what seemed a rather low bar of achievement yet now feels so high to pass.
