All Ellen does is say exactly what Randy says. She never adds in her own opinions other than to throw in a few lame jokes. They need to let her judge first, then she'd finally have to show some balls for a change.
And is it too late to get a judge change. Ellen is just soo boring and kara has done everything lately but hop on simon's lap and stick tongue down his throat trying to prove she's better than paula: what seemed a rather low bar of achievement yet now feels so high to pass.
But damn she must be short, she was a good 4 or so inches under ryan and he's on the below average of the height scale as it is.
I actually like Ellen, she's basically there for comic relief once in a while and to play more of the nice girl role that Paula had.
Kara is so DAMN ANNOYING!! All she talks about is how the song's lyrics didn't mean anything to the singer. And how they need to get in touch with the song and express themselves through the lyrics and crap. I can't even think of some of hte other stuff she says but most of it is complete useless junk.....although it is funny when Simon calls her out on it.
It's also pretty obvious that Simon and Kara are hooking up. Man they are all over each other non-stop!
Also - last night....the Jonas brother suit = Night at the Roxberry.....but who am I to mock. The dude has more money at age 17 or whatever than any of us will ever see.

I actually like Didi. Not sure what the judges, or others here were listening to this week, but I thought her vocals were amazing, better than Siobahn. She had a laid back performance 2 weeks ago that was also quite good. She's also the best looking of the bunch, which certainly helps. I don't know, I dig her. She's kind of like that Meghan girl from last year, but everything that was wrong about Meghan is right about Didi. She's not a freak oddball, and I don't see anything wrong about her song choices.
Also - did anyone else think that Casey sounded exactly like the recoding of that song? I mean seriously, when he started singing I thought it was Huey Lewis! I don't know if that's good or bad b/c it did sound dated and sort of copy-cat. But man, his voice was like a spot on impression.

I don't know what was up with Didi's performance; it didn't even seem like her. With VFTW backing Tim, I expect Didi to go home tonight.

I didn't think Didi's performance was THAT bad...I dunno...I'm no talent scout so what do I know? I thought Siobahn's performance was probably the worst yesterday in my opinion, but everyone knows she can do way better than yesterday's performance.
I'd hate to see Didi go (well, only because she's the only eye candy really left) but she hasn't really wowed us so far. Her voice also really limits her to certain songs and some of the "theme" weeks have really been killing her.
I thought Casey showed a lot more personality this week. Every other week, he's been almost stiff up on stage (he barely moves at all) and this week, he seemed to let loose.
I suspect Crystal is going to win it, but to be honest, I don't know if she's going to have the success of previous Idol's like Carrie Underwood or Kelly Clarkson just because she doesn't have the mainstream appeal like those girls did. (to put it bluntly, she's not hot)

Edit: I forgot to mention that Kelly Clarkson and Carrie Underwood are by far the most successful Idol winners. They each have about FOUR TIMES the record sales of the #3 most successful winner, Ruben Studdard (Source). So, if Crystal were only half as successful as those two, she'd still be leaps and bounds ahead of the 3rd most successful Idol winner. Obviously the winners aren't always the most successful, especially if you look at Kris Allen who's #20 on the afore-mentioned list and Chris Daughtry and Clay Aiken who have each sold more records than 6 of the actual Idol winners.Her authenticity at being done wrong by a man is under-cut severely when she sings the line, "for five long years, I thought you were my man." So this happened when she was what, 12? Gross. It's safe to say that any song invoking pedophilia is a bad song choice.
