really think it should have been Stefano instead of Thia being eliminated
oh well. it's not like she was going to win this year's American Idol. I think she can sing her ass off but with this year's talent pool, more is needed than just being able to sing well.
Yeah, I was surprised too. I thought Stefano was the weakest performance, and has already been in danger a few times. Plus, with Noxema, it would have been all of the judges "Fail Cards" knocked out swiftly. I liked Stefano though, I think he's had some really strong performances (I thought with Motown week, his was the best). His Wild Card shot also knocked it out of the park (The judges letting Noxema and un-Diana Ross through--let alone allowing them to even try for it--wtf).
Oh well, he'll probably be gone soon enough. I wouldn't be surprised if Casey is gone soon. He's still my "favorite," But I'm still mostly uncaring about this season, though I "like" more of them than I've liked before
--Pia, (amazing but fucking boring. always good to look at, though :wub, To Tastes Like Chicken: LoL, the GF and I always try to guess if she's going to move her arm upwards with palm up or down. It's a 50-50 shot guessing her stage performance for the night. SHe has pipes, though. Serious freaking pipes.
James--I can't believe I keep forgetting about this guy--I love his insanity, and yes, He does need to slow it down a bit and really give his voice a shot. He's that good.
--Haley has the best female voice next to Pia.
Paul--I liked him in the top 32. Now...I can't decide.
--Jacob is always good, but I'm sick of the gospel.
--I hate that type of country music, but Scotty is solid. Probably, the most consistently good, seriously knows what he's doing and who he is, and what he wants to do contestant. I always forget about him, but he's always good, even though I could give two shits about his style of "country."
