Getting a Mac as a second computer is cool... I couldn't use it as my primary though. Too much software available for PC and not for Mac.

What purpose does having a MAC as a second computer serve?
What can you do on it that you can't do on a PC?

Little pet peeve. The only TiBook was the 15 inch, and they stopped making those around September. A lot of people go, oh I got a 12" TiBook, or 17" TiBook. !2 and 17 inch only come in Aluminum, never in Titanium.Originally posted by: RGN
Good for him. I've got a 12" TiBook that is just awesome. There are two things that amaze me about it:
1) When I close the lid, it goes to sleep. When I open the lid it almost instantly wakes up. Everytime.
2) The built-in wireless support of 10.3 is awesome. I roam from my house to the unsecure work network, to the LEAP encrypted internal net and never have issues. It is nearly transparent, prompting me only for my LEAP password. Never screws up, just works.
I also have a custom built G4. It is a good machine, but I like the PC as a desktop. Software compatibility is a must, even for those of use that try not to live in a MS world.
