Metacritic has 67 from planet xbox 360. Here is the link. I can't read it because game sites are blocked at my work.

wow whoever does their reviews really needs some work in the writing department. it was a chore to read that review and it sounded like a highschool kid doing homework for some of it.

Holy shit, don't they have editors? In just the second (run-on) sentence:
"really peaked my interest"
Not to mention the AIM-like lack of punctuation in their compound sentences.
Even though each different target is different it all feels the same...

You mean like this Thursday at Fry's for $39.99, which is "cheap"?
Let me know when there is a Fry's in New York City! No sales like that over here. dammit

Dude, we don't have Fry's in Jersey either! I've driven past a Fry's in Dallas - the night before the PS3 launch actually, but they were closed. I've never been in one.

I wouldnt make the decision on just ign's review alone, they seem to be on the bottom end of the curve for this one.
These big open worlds, which are fully interactive, do come at a severe cost on PS3. There is considerable texture pop-in and noticeable framerate issues. Playing back-to-back with the 360 version, it's obvious that Ubisoft did not devote enough resources to the PS3 edition. The framerate is considerably worse, so much so that it begins to affect gameplay in the later levels. You can get through the first two-thirds of Assassin with the framerate being just an annoyance, but it becomes more of an issue for the final third of the missions.

I had such high hope for this game, it was a "must buy" for me after seeing the earlier previews, but now I'll probably just wait for it to be in the bargain's bin or get used one on Ebay for cheap. Another big blow for me personally:

Even though I have both PS3 and 360, I prefer to use the PlayStation's controller over the 360's, but yet again PS3 version is unpolished compare to the 360.

When it comes to PS3 vw. 360...isn't it pretty common for the 360 version to have better framerates (when comparing the same game)? At least right now?
No....no...I'm not trying to start a war here...I have both systems, blah, blah, blah...
