Also, anyone that has had to RMA a board to Asus know how long it took them to send it back?
EDIT: Cheapherk (sp) you can only run a software RAID on the IDE channels which means big CPU utilization on disk access, you'd be better off with a RAID card or SATA adapters IMHO.
The bios corruption happens now and then. I don't think its real common. I RMA'd my board. Asus says they will send the board back in 5-10 working days after they receive it. I got the RMA # by email very quickly. And I was able to phone them to check if they received my board without waiting on hold. For some reason their website RMA tracking didn't know about my RMA.
My board dying was a blessing in disguise. I love this NF7-S rev. 2. It overclocks better, is just as stable and there's no static or faint beeping in the sound. I'm going to sell my Asus when I get it back.
