The cooling system is running through the side because in order to relocate the cooling tubes the fittings have to come off one end of the hose, the ends with the quick connect fittings don't fit through the card slots.
I was in a hurry to get the system up and running so I didn't bother putting it back in a slot and I don't know if the tubing I have left is enough to go all the way down under the cards and back up to the CPU. There is enough distance wise, but it would have to rest over the edges of the video cards and kink.
I plan to add a nf4 and 6800 water blocks and an internal radiator to compliment the Exos for the added heat, so it didn't make since to bother cutting more tubing and making anything too permenant. Unfortunately it will have to wait as the Innovatek blocks don't even fit the PCIe cards thanks to a 'misplaced' capacitor!!!!:disgust:
As far as the CPU, I'm just running 15x200 at 1.6v on the MSI board but I seem to be able to get away with 1.5125 on the Asus board and it runs about 2 C hotter which tells me the Asus power supply is much more beefy. Ram is all set to Auto and 1T for 2-2-2-5-1T
From what I gather, the FX-55 needs to be able to run at 2.8 at stock voltages to be able to expect it to do 3.0 at all. I got bluescreens and prime95 errors on the stock heatsink at 3.0 no matter the voltage and it ran 70C core, now its running 51C max load with no problems thanks to the Exos
