Hi, I'm trying to understand if my problems are connected by this mobo or it's something else.
I've got that M2N-E (yeah, like they say, "if only I knew") with AMD 3800+ X2 and 2GB of Kingston memory (800MHz on 1.95V), nothing's overclocked, I'd like to have at least a stable system... Well, it is stable most of the time, until I decide to spend a minute or two by some game and that's where it begins - some games go well, while others just hang at some point (usualy up to a minute after mission start and some even in the main menu) - everything stops responding, just the background sound keeps playing for about a minute, then it stops too. If I leave it like that then about a minute later PC reboots. Some games stop hanging when I lower details. I'd tell it's a video card or driver issue, but I have Nvidia 7600GT and tried different driver versions, besides, it's no different whether it's in fullscreen or window mode, and several times such hangup occurred in random situations when no graphical apps were running.
I also thought my Outpost firewall did this, since aside from other "harmless" crazy behaviour it often throws BSODs at me (its driver name's on a blue screen) a few seconds after logon screen is displayed and during that BSOD it apparently freezes just the same, cause it doesn't reboot from it and after I reboot manually there isn't any minidump or anything. But I tried to disable and even uninstall it completely and the problem's still there (didn't see BSODs though).
I've also tried to lower memory frequency, lock PCIe bus at 100 MHz, nothing helps, runned a couple of memory tests and they showed no problems...
I'm totally out of ideas now... any help is appreciated.
