Just an FYI, in line with what AT news reported about Prescott support, Asus has edited their website (yes, the specs page I linked to as #27
http://www.anandtech.com/news/shownews.html?i=20040&ATVAR_START=21&p=2 originally said prescott support) so that their boards no longer indicate prescott support. I noticed this while seeing that the 1009-006 bios is out
http://www.asus.com.tw/support/download/item.aspx?ModelName=P4P800%20Deluxe that the specs page on the .de site had no Prescott name. Changing to the US server showed the similar removal

Now, AT-Motherboards, who has saved or scanned a copy of the original page stating prescott support and would be willing to send it (zip file of all - with pics) to me ? I'd be willing to host it. UPDATE: Found a copy on one of my home machines:
My hosting of the P4P800-Deluxe specs page - cache from 7-13-2003
If you haven't yet visited the updated asus page, you may still have it in your computer's cache. This one doesn't anymore. Steps to take in IE 6.0: Go Offline, then type in your address bar: usa.asus.com, push the down arrow to see history for an item that looks like
http://usa.asus.com/prog/spec.asp?m=P4P800%20Deluxe&langs=09 (usa , langs fields may be different) , then highlight, push enter, the page may load from cache or it'll tell you that it needs to connect to get the page (staying offline keeps you from updating the cache).... save web page, complete.
Hehehe.... even more fun for the P4C800 as things haven't fully propagated yet.

I'm kind of peeved that the information we've been getting about a shipping product has been incorrect for almost two months and the company is changing things and sweeping it under the rug without ever officially acknowledging that they goofed. I'd be fine if the prescott support was something we all assumed because the chipset supports it but the issue is that Asus advertised this as a major selling point and put it in their press releases for these products... an official statement and perhaps a solution is called for.
