And it's pretty much Super Bowl or bust as far as Norv's job goes. Sad that I have to say "pretty much" because I believe the same phrase was used before last season. Still the team was busy in free agency and addressed some concerns through the draft so really looking forward to this season. Hoping Mathews has the breakout season everyone's predicting him to have and he does a better job of protecting the ball and avoiding injuries.

I think the biggest question is -- will the Chargers stink it up in the first part of the season or the last part of the season? You know they'll have at least a decent stretch in their annual "Save Norv's job!" derby.

The NFL needs to play 7 game playoffs like MLB/NHL/NBA before I can take them seriously. Eli Manning with 2 lucky passes shouldn't equal a champion. I'm just not going to watch this year. 1 and done is dumber than NHL/soccer shootouts deciding a game.

On the contrary, I think one and done is superior because the stakes are much, much higher. There's a reason why the NFL is the most popular league and why March Madness (another one and done scenario) is more popular than NBA as well.
