I almost feel sorry for opposing defenses this season. Good luck stopping these guys.

Fantasy meets reality in this week’s issue of Sports Illustrated, which boasts two separate covers featuring the NFL’s best offensive weapons.

Peyton Manning and his bevy of targets (Demaryius Thomas, Wes Welker, Eric Decker) appear on the national cover. One of the most explosive passing offenses in the NFL last season, the Broncos got even better in the offseason, adding ex-Patriot Welker.

SI senior writer Chris Ballard details Welker’s exodus from New England and how Denver became the destination for two of the unlikeliest free-agent pickups (Welker and Manning) in sports history.

Not sure how I feel about this. I need to let it set in.

I thought that rule list was trolling, laughed at it, and wasn't sure if I should rage.

Then I remembered that I never watch the pro bowl, don't give a shit about the pro bowl, and accepted that they could just replace the players with robots and use Aussie football rules and it wouldn't make any real difference.

Feh.

Willis made All-American and All-Pro (twice) with a broken hand.

Culliver is a backup CB and can easily be replaced.

The best news the 49ers received this week came out of Seattle.

Seattle did fine without having Harvin in the lineup last year. I almost wonder if starting the season with him healthy would have caused so much negative friction (Harvin's history) that it would have been overall worse for the team.

Perhaps, being forced to sit out and show up only halfway through the season will humble him to some degree when he's forced to prove himself in what should be an established and rather potent offense. That could make Seattle scary during what should be a competitive push to the playoffs.

Afer several bad practices following the sprain, Sanchise gets the start for game 2.

Patriots cut Jenkins. Supposedyl Brady's knee is just a booboo and he thinks he'll still start next game.

Vikes Felton out with an appendectomy.

Rams Dunbar gets 4 games to enjoy PEDs.

Good for you, your team gets to be king of the short-bus conference.

And dirty Sanchez throws another red zone INT. love that guy. He provides so much lols just by being employed by a joke of an organization when every other team would have fired his ass by now. He isnt even a backup in this league and yet Rex Ryan is too fucking dumb and too in love with his dirty ass to notice. And to think The way they fucked over Tebow when he could have easily won then games. They deserve the karma thats coming to them. Another top 5 pick again after this season. Patriots will continue to get a free pass to the playoffs in that horrid POS division.

Looks like I made the correct bet.

As far as the pack, they are definitely in the wait and see. A bunch of movement among the WR corp, and actual on field performance of the new RBs will be the key indicators. Add in how the D ends up playing to back up the offense as the particulars to watch.

Just heard an ad about Ronde Barbe being on fox now, guess that means he retired. Can't believe I missed that one, wonder if ESPN has intentionally quite on these guys joining the new fox channel.

SF & KC are swapping 1st round picks...

AJ Jenkins for Jonathan Baldwin. Weird trade?

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap10...ade-aj-jenkins-to-chiefs-for-jonathan-baldwin

One 1st round bust for another. I doubt either receiver will be on a roster next year, if they even make it to this year.

Looks like Jenkins has to rank up there as one of the greatest 49ers' draft busts (Which seems rather full of WRs: Jenkins, Rashaun Woods, J.J. Stokes, Terry Beasley, Lance Alworth (well, he did OK elsewhere) and Bernie Casey (Better known for his acting) (Crabtree was frightening close to being a bust until the last year or so, too).).

Ironically, Jenkins will (not) be catching balls from one who un-busted himself in the last two years, Alex Smith.
