I was under the impression the 25th was the last day you can preorder to get into the beta early.

Yeah, you'll get in to the beta on Thursday.

Everything I read was that you had to preorder by Sept 25th for early access.

Yeah thats what I thought but when I preordered through origin last night it was still advertising early beta access on 9/27.. i guess they are slack and didnt update the website

On another note, my dog pissed on my desktop last night and it went right through the mesh case and soaked the motherboard and video card :thumbsdown::thumbsdown::thumbsdown: $400 piss there! New parts will be in Friday just in time to game

Has anyone had trouble with the beta geforce drivers? I have a fresh install of win 7, but while in the desktop it flickers and aero stops being transparent. After a few seconds flickers again and it comes back. I didn't have time to play around but will switch back to see if that resolves it. Sigh.

Nope. Downloaded 285.38 last night and did not have any issues at all (played bfp4free for an hour or so without issue).

That takes the cake for the worst computer mishap I've heard of in a long time!

Maybe replace the mesh case while you're at it? I think dogs like to return to mark their territory once in a while...

You can via friends lists and party joins, but at the moment any attempts at connecting to a server will bring up an error(As of 8:10AM PDT looks like connections are back up). Matchmaking for me refers to the connection process to the server and client.

Also, is the beta not using Battlelog yet?

It is, but a lot of features are a bit buggy.

On a different note: For anyone running at a high resolution. Make sure you do the screen adjust feature in the game. It will reduce the HUD so that it will be drawn completely on the screen. Do not move the arrows to the edge of the screen but closer to the middle. It will make more sense when you see that configuration screen.

I don't remember but I think so. However, just in case, I downloaded Origin again, installed and it still crashes.

edit - got it working. I had to completely uninstall Origin then reinstall it.
