i've been unsuccessfully trying to set up some keys for about an hour now. my next step is to create bf3 profiles for my kb and mouse to compensate for this pile of crap. at least i can work in a menu without being killed/kicked/disco'd.
how much would i pay for this? $0.

Has anyone mentioned how good the sound is for this game? I know, often overlooked, but hot damn! I don't play other games really, so I don't know what they are like, but I am really impressed. I cannot imagine what it would be like with a real 5.1 setup, I think it would be a real advantage.

I haven't played a ton yet but yeah it's good. So far I think Bad Company 2's sounds are much better; some of the best sound, and ultimately atmosphere, I've ever heard in a game.Has anyone mentioned how good the sound is for this game? You can change almost any button mapping you want. Except for what is bound to the mouse already. I cannot change zoom to any button I want. I put jump on mouse 2 like I want, but zoom will not work with any other button.

Ahh yea I finally found the filters. Is there no way to que up a server so you can automatically join when it has a free slot? Every single server is filled.

And I keep getting dc'd mid match. I think I have completed 3 or 4 rounds total and have tried to play 50... As much as I like the game, this is stupid.
Finally got a few rounds in. Had a little trouble with the mouse floating at first, but I think I got that fixed. I'm impressed that the engine can run at pretty high levels with solid fps on my HD5850. I had it on auto, and it was definitely not maxed out, but most options were on high, with about 45fps avg. Good enough for now...at least until HD7000 appears...
As for feel, I'd say it's definitely a different feel than anything I've played before. I guess others have described it as having weight. I get that...your motions actually take time to make, like proning, pulling out the bipod, etc. Means you have to think about what your next move will be, because it will probably take you a couple seconds. Pretty cool...but I wasn't so hot in my first rounds, that's for sure!
I have tried everything I can think of to gey key bindings to change, but nothing works. Really hate that crouch is unassigned by default, and I'd like to get several of my unassigned mouse buttons to do something useful.
