Yah, that guy is supposedly a known hacker. I read he's using some type of teleport hack that places him right in front of people. A lot of posters have reported him already.

I've seen a hack that appears to teleport the VICTIM...guy was teleporting people to the out of bounds and killing them.

you can check it in game via the console, gully posted the command pretty recently(about to head out the door or I would look it up) or you can run fraps of course to benchmark it

I am having an issue with the client browser. Pretty much anything that involves a pop-up never shows up. So I can't join parties and I can't join games when my party tries to join a game. I have chrome and the latest version as well as the latest version of the game browser.

This was happening during beta but I chalked it up to beta and didn't worry about it.

So I take it no one has problems with getting kicked out of multiplayer matches? Every server I join I get kicked out by admin or disconnected after about a minute or two. Haven't been able to complete a single match. This happened in the beta but only after Caspian became available to everyone. sigh.

I need to find a better way to record ingame footage than FRAPS.

I have maybe 12 hours of stuff and its 700 gb, and I am out of disk space

so I dont have me knifing you, or some other AT'ers last night

and I dont have my awesome Jet and Attack help kills with the littlebird on kharg last night, or my awesome eject from jet parachute stinger kill

Good games last night guys. I finally learned some of the maps and started doing alright, except for crashing the jets and helis. >_> I wish the SCAR had a larger magazine though.

Loving the game so far. Does the Tugboat have a vent, mumble, or teamspeak server?

Has anyone found a way to get the mouse-wheel to do anything besides cycle? It's driving me effing nuts. Even remapping the mousewheel outside of BF (like using X-Mouse in this case) doesn't work. If you open a chat window you can tell it's got the right commands but as far as actually assigning it to something it just fails.

Thats a sign of punkbuster issues. Try uninstalling pbservices through remove/uninstall programs. Restart, then run the punkbuster installer in your bf3 folder to reinstall it. Fixed all the "kicked by admin" issues for me.

Great games last night fellas!

I'm certainly getting a hang of all the controls, especially with the vehicles. Even tried out my 360 controller for one of the jets a few times and it worked well.

I'm really enjoying these map designs...made for quite a few insane firefights last night. Even though Metro was in the beta and has been getting hated on, the one match late last night on that map was awesome. There was quite the prolonged battle inside near the turnstiles. I can't remember who you guys were but I bagged a few dogtags on you hiding out up in the apartment windows. :ninja:

So far, I think you are out of luck if you want to re-program the scroll wheel, or the Q key.

Make sure you are not running any special software that manipulates the mouse buttons. Then inside BF3, just click on the action you want (say melee) and very carefully click the scroll wheel down, making sure you don't move the mouse body at all or the wheel.

for me, i wasnt getting invites (pop-ups) for party joins and the join server buttons didnt have the dropdown for party or alone join. avast! webshield is the problem. i turned the webshield off and everything works great now. i put a url exception in avast but ive not tested it.



another issue im having is with mouse binding. i can actually bind scroll click and my thumb buttons, but its spotty. i have one thumb button that i assigned to gadget 1. it works if the gadget is a medi pack or ammo pack but if gadget 1 is say an rpg or grenage launcher, the button doesnt work. highly annoying.

Speaking of mouse bindings, which mice are you all using successfully with BF3? I think it might be time to retire my somewhat clunky G5.

recently switched to a deathadder 3500 here a month ago. unlike the beta, the game does recognize the additional mouse buttons. im just having trouble with the gadget1 binding. i havent tried to use the razer software to manually map the mouse button to a keyboard key.
