Dumb question, but when I get into an armored vehicle and it says I have 2 heat seeking missiles, how do I use them? Haven't figured out the button that enables them.

It isn't telling you that you have 2 missles, it is showing you the button to push to activate them, which is the number 2. You have to lock on to the target before you can fire them though...

And it only works against air vehicles. Also, you can fire two at once before needing to reload. Not sure how many it takes to destroy another helicopter, but it may be more than two (two will disable though).

I know this is the version to play vs console - but the problems you guys are reporting doesn't inspire a whole lot of confidence ....

My time played is 118hr 39m since it came out, so obviously it is working more often than not. In fact aside from random crashes when trying to connect (which I blame on punk buster, not bf3) then today's kicking problems were my first real problems. They cleared up now though and I am able to play again.

I just can't play more than 20min at a time because of the mouse acceleration problem. It feels so clunky playing.

Lucky for us patch is next week.

The only problem I've had has been servers randomly crashing. Other than that everything been perfect and I've grown to love the battlelog.

My wrist and fingers are trashed, and I'm at 64 hours. Had to buy some bean bag wrist thing, but the only thing that really helps is not playing.

Second time since i got the game i got disconnected during my best round ever point wise best guy on my team minus the hack with almost 10k points my personal best ...the hacker this evening in a large ticket round of metro got away with hacking and i got disconnected losing all my points?

Love this game but i won't play it no more till its patched those points combined with those ribbons would have ranked me and the freaking server disconnects me and not this hack...irony at its finest.

Anyone know when a patch will be out?Building a new rig soon for the game so wanna make it won't be postponed till judgement day cause i could put the build off as long as the patch takes

It looks like it's related to NoScript, since when I disabled it I experienced no issues I had before. This is odd to me as I've been playing since launch with NS enabled with no difficulties. At first I thought it could be the version I was using conflicting with battlelog so I updated and I'm still having the same issue.

Yeah... I have been been bringing up the task manager everytime I start my PC and disabling a whole bunch of stuff so I won't get kicked out of games or can log in to servers... since I disabled everything it has been working fine lately... but sometimes it takes me two to three tries to log into servers because it kept freezing right before my solider loads...

That makes sense... so they are using it without EA's blessing/permission? Well - I'm going to delete them from my favorites list...


Anyhow flying a Jet with the joystick definately takes time to get used too - I can finally do stuff and turn tight circles, but aiming is not as percise as using a keyboard/mouse... Flying a chopter on the otherhand, is way eaiser and more fun using a joystick than a mouse and keyboard...

So far I was able to bind everything I wanted to my joystick and its seems pretty cool and responisve... so far no issues except some getting used to... thanks Gully Foyle! :thumbsup:

I haven't read the thread but need some Single Player Campaign help. So, I am back on the train after Solomon (sp?). I press E to jump out the window, press Space to jump across to the train an land in front of the other window. But my character almost always just spins around facing away from the window and then I die. I've tried holding/pressing E. I tried holding/pressing Space. Nothing else happens.
No joystick is BTW, just keyboard and mouse.

The Javalin is weird. It seems to hit objects more than the target its after. Tried it on caspian today and hit more rocks/trees than tanks.

Well, have almost 30 hours in now and I'm slowly getting better. Had a few high score games get erased by server reboots. The one thing that I find particularly frustrating is the use of MAV as piloted weapons without a risk of death. Having spent a good amount of time on metro and there are guys racking up 50+ kills without a death.

The USAS-12 is a beastly shotgun, Ive been playing TDM with it and racking up 25-30 kills per game with it.
