Really had no issues with beta and my ping and all else loads with no issues just this battlelog and me don't work.
What browser is everyone using and what version?
Chrome never gives me issues but it does have a habit of defaulting me over to tampa bay florida craigslist when i am in california leading me to believe perhaps my isp is giving me service from there?
Everything on my machine is up to date its a fresh install basically .
Going to try with internet explorer 9 and see if my problems persist...
Edit:haven't used ie in a long time but that defaults craigslist to tampa bay too...
Can't hurt to just go to: http://whatismyipaddress.com/ and see what it says (as it includes location). I'm looking for another tool I've used just to see where I was being seen. I'll post if I can find it again.
Ordered a 6950 2gb :awe: Coming from a GTX 260 192sp so it should be a pretty big upgrade. I'm at 1080p so I should be able to do Ultra settings w/o MSAA I think.
Nice upgrade for sure, about 2x the power. But depending on your preference for smoothness, you might have more luck with high than with ultra/no msaa. At high you'd be around 50fps, at ultra/no msaa, it'll probably be closer to 45. That's with a quad, by the way.
Zargon, are you playing ultra with your 6970 or 6950?
EDIT: Brand new benches from HardOCP should answer all your questions: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2011/11/22/battlefield_3_multiplayer_performance_iq_review
These are benches we've been waiting for.
Verdict: HD6950 is playable at ultra, no HBAO, no MSAA, no blur.
I have XFX 6950 2GB (stock), 8GB, 4.5ghz 2500k, and I play at 1920x1200, I've settled on everything ultra but shadows, HBAO on, no blur or other AA options, and it's very very smooth.
Only if they are right up in your face, its a vast improvement.WTF, I thought they patched the flashlight, I just got done playing and I am still blinded to shit by people with flashlights in open daylight maps.

Im not liking whatever they did to the mouse settings though. It was perfect before, now it just feels weird. I played around with the sensitivity but cant find that sweet spot.
Its because it IS NOT patched. Its in next patch along with IRNV being changed.
um it flat says in the patch it was changed.. where are you getting that it wasnt?

I played 1/2 round on Caspian last night and half the forest was gone? WTH? Can anyone confirm or was it some weird glitch?

ditto. i was having some trouble with the mouse last night too. i had to lower the sensitivity a bit to get it back to where it was but i think i still need some tweaking.Only if they are right up in your face, its a vast improvement.
