but you sure, by default prtscn takes screencaps and puts them somewhere? what's the file extension, i'll search by that?
Im not seeing any .png files anywhere in any of my BF3 folders. I dont even have an Electronic Arts folder, just Origin Games. Ive taken some print screens so if it works they gotta be somewhere.this is where it drops mine:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\Battlefield 3
and they are .png files.
Another thing, why on earth can I see eveyone's ping but my own on the scoreboard? I couldnt care less about what other peoples pings are. When my friends and I enter a new server its the first thing we ask each other: "Hows my ping?" EPIC FAIL!
Supposedly its you ping to other players, not their ping to the server. Therefore, you have no ping. Another case of Dice thinking they are smarter than everyone else.
They really need to rebalance helos and stingers back to how they were. Two guys in a Viper can absolutely dominate now, and you can fire Stingers all day without effect. 90% of them miss, and the occassional one that hits does something like 40% damage.
Agree, stingers are useless now. On the bright side, it has really helped me rank up my attack heli, since im not a great pilot. wow, last 4 hours only 2 servers available, and 2k ticket wake island. This is seriously sad state of game.
Battlebus pet peeves:
Engineers that don't repair transport helicopters when under fire.
Gunners that don't switch to passenger seats to repair the transport helicopter.
Gunners that fire random shots, robbing us of our stealth.
It's not the state of the game, it's the damn client.
I can go from showing 2 games available to having 100 in a single refresh.
Looking at stats for the game, there are a minimum of 30,000 clients on in a 24 hour period and a maximum of a 100,000 over the last week. Best bet is to favorite servers you like...
I've never since release got more than maybe 10 show up at any given time. Yet when you disable all filters you get hundreds of empty servers.
Am I missing it, or is there no (longer?) any way to filter empty servers out of your server list?
Wasn't there an option to do this originally? There's an option under number of free slots for empty servers, but you can't put an X in it, only check it.
Just takes one hit from a javelin too, but people rarely lase targets. If you can get a couple of guys to use SOFLAM or CITV and another couple of Jav carrying engineers, you can shut down the helis real quick. Jets are harder to hit but they arent as much of a nuisance to infantry.Good chopper/gunner combos definitely own, especially if the gunner is properly using flares here and there when necessary, but seriously one citv/guided shell is all it takes to blow em outta the sky
Stingers definitely need to do more damage though, its unfair how suckass they are right now.
Is there a website that fully explains all of the vehicle upgrades and how they work? I'd just like to review and make sure I'm not missing anything.
