my battlelog is screwed to.

at least its not just me, last 2 games showed up but its missing a ton from earlier today, would have helped my W/L a lot

This new patch appears to have wrecked havoc on the performance of my 7970...where i would often hang around 60fps average in caspian border it seems to be much lower like 52-55 and it feels like its at like 35fps...vram has jumped to 1370+mb used,for gtx570 owners this may now be a problem...

Anyone else seeing this?

1080p all ultra settings post aa at medium and 2x msaa enabled

No issues so far on my GTX 570... will see how it goes when I play more longer sessions...

I updated the post showing the vram usage numbers with msaa shut off,its still hitting 1259mb about 5 mins into a caspian border map,i never saw it peak that high so quickly.

Appears for both settings vram usage has jumped nearly 100mb from what i usually see.

Here's my list for weapons recommendations post patch:
Assault: L85+heavy barrel. Super accurate and controllable under full auto fire. Also has the fast ADS movement speed which is a huge huge tactical advantage.
Eng: QZB-95B+heavy barrel+laser. This gun was horrible pre-patch but now it ROCKS. Basically the engy equivalent of the L85 but instead of foregrip it gets to use HB AND laser. They upped its reload time and it also has the fast ADS movement speed. Loving this thing so far.

Love the M16A3 (which remains unchanged after patch), L85 (boost after patch), M1014, M27IAR, and trying to love the VAL

Also, I had no clue about the spawn release until I got back into a helicopter, where I by habit spin and accelerate while waiting

Edit:disabling msaa all together and vram usage peaked at about 1259mb about 5 mins in...why such the jump in usage?

I have everything at max, except I turn off MSAA

I game at 1920x1200

But when I turn on MSAA that is when I get slight judder due to lack of VRAM - but playable.

I was much worst before when I had the AMD Phenom II 965 which was unplayable.

The AN 94 assault rifle actually got a pretty nice buff but I still don't see as many people using it as I do. It was already incredibly accurate before but now I swear these bullets are laser guided with almost zero recoil.

There's still the "weapon jam" bug going on with all the burst fire weapons though. I really thought they would have that worked out in this patch. I've just learned to steady myself more when firing it instead of seeing just how fast I can spam my left mouse button which is when the bug occurs.

Also, having a 200 round clip with the RPK is freaking awesome.

not sure why they changed that. I could see cutting the timer in half but now, it seems unfair. Especially for Rush.

I'm pretty close, swapping the L96 for the SV98, and G19 for 93R.

And of course M320 but you know.

L85 is definitely one I'm gonna start using more especially since the AEK isn't going to be my go to full auto assault rifle anymore. I loved it pre-patch but haven't gotten around to using it since.

Holy God this patch sucks dick. I understand nerfing the USAS, but why ruin the rounds for every other shotgun? Why not apply a weapon specific nerfing. Also wtf is up with the damage/hit boxes? I'm hitting people square in the chest with 4 or 5 bursts from the g36 and barely damaging them. I'll get murked, and then right after a team mate will kill them and I only get something like a kill assist 43. Game's almost unplayable for me now. Went from about 1:1 K to 1:6 or so

I haven't really noticed any adverse effects from the patch, but I play at lower settings on some things to try and maintain 120fps to match my refresh rate.

I get dips down into the 70's at times, but that's mainly when a LOT of destruction and particle effects are going on. The urban outdoor part of metro really brings my frames down.

To be honest, I'm mostly done with modern FPS anyways and if at all, will come back if DICE manages to redeem themselves with armed whateverthefuckitscalled DLC.

I bought mw3 from the Russian key site when it came out. Worst $15 I ever spent. Never even play it.

Btw I havent played BF3 in months, wtf did they do with the aek? Things has huge recoil at range. I started using the an94 and was kicking ass.

65 -14 my first game and still carrying my squad to wins in sqdm and tdm. I guess years of counterstrike never leave you.

I had one game today where I had a 2 second countdown to begin, most of the time I just hit the ground running when the game loaded. I guess not having an SSD is gonna suck for people without them, doesnt seem fair.

Am I the only person on this thread that thinks that it should have been left alone since day one launch (other than the falling through the maps fixes/glitches)...

From my understanding... weapons are not the same in real life... some vehicles are more powerful than others... soldiers don't complain in real life - they adjust, adapt, and find a way when odds are against them... isn't that how BF3 is suppose to play?
