Also worth noting is the damn M26 Dart glitch since the patch. If you have your M26 Dart equipped with an undersling rail it gets benefit from your Heavy Barrel. People are pulling off some ridiculous long range shotgun kills with that thing.

I just got done messing around with it on a Sharqui Conq and damn this thing is stupid powerful. I was pulling 50+ yard kills with 2 shots and several double kills with lined up enemies. Granted I never used it before the patch since I didn't even have it unlocked but I'm pretty sure this is going to be the USAS Version 2.0. Except this is way worse!

Expect to see a few servers banning it in the near future.

If you go into key bindings, you'll see bipod is matched to right mouse, same as for the sight. Change it from that and you can use another key to deploy the bipod.

Before I realized this, I thought the bipod was a nucince, but after this change it's pretty amazing. :thumbsup:

They need to increase recoil to match the random spread patters and do away with random spread entirely. Testify!!

Even pre patch the game was too random to be truly fun. If you played the beta you know how this game was meant to be. It was amazing.

Now the game just feels random and it's by choice which is sad. If they guns fired like they did in beta, but had increased recoil the game would probably go down in history as one of the best FPS games ever made.

Yeah...no. Sorry, BF2's gunplay was near horrid, I loved it to death due to map size and vehicles, but the infantry combat was by far the worst thing about it.

BF2 gunplay was amazing. Guns actually had recoil and took skill to use, instead of this COD no recoil at all guns that BF3 has.

no they were all innaccurate POS's except the sniper rifles

but i agree, recoil is what should be there, not this random shit

BF2 had HORRIBLE gun play. The only thing that made the game great was vehicle play. But the Infantry combat was atrocious in that game. The weapon physics were NOT good.

If you liked it fine, but it is pretty generally known by most anybody that gun play was NOT the highlight of that game.

one HUGE bonus to gun play in BF2 verse even BC2 is now all weapons have bullet drop, one crappy part of BC2 was that only the sniper rifles did, so 4x AR's could easily outshoot you in middle range due to them having no drop and faster travelling bullets

skill is pretty meaningless of sorts

you kill a higher skill player, your skill goes up, you lose skill when killed by a lower skill player

there must be more to it obviously, but thats the basics

BUT IT'S NOT OVER 9000! so we still killed him a couple times. Also pissed him off when I jumped in the jet. Gonna friend request him now.

Also...all I really do is play helo...and jet...need moar gunnerz from Zargon kthx.

i have no idea what skill actually it, IIRC someone posted how it was calculated a long time ago in this thread. or i read it on some site, i only selected it because zargon did in his graph
