Is it just me or that new Battlelog/client updated on April 27th now has annoying BF3/EA advertisng pop up when I'm about to join a server?!?!

It is bad enough I get it on Origin but now I get it when logging into games/servers?!

Its funny it has that DLC ad telling players to buy the DLC to unlock all weapons/attachments so they can play/fight on even level with veterans?! That is false advertising right there because having it doesn't improve your skills if you're a noob... D:

Yeah, I hate that pop up. Ive had it for a few weeks now and if I close it before I get into the first match the game always freezes at Initializing. :thumbsdown:

It's so he can get the new plane that spawns.

And not die.

I panicked bailed on firestorm right in the enemy base the other night. Landed -on top- of the enemy plane spawn with a few seconds left on the out of bounds timer, thank you!

LOL if you buy all the unlocks and weapons,it ends up being like BC2 after you hit rank 28 or so...its then only a point whoring game and level up,and its gonna get boring fast.

Holy crap, check out the updated symthic.com, major upgrade.

Neat weapon comparison tool that shows heat maps for shots, damage over distance, time to kill, etc. You can add on barrel attachments to see how it affects things. Here's the 240 with foregrip vs the 249 with bipod deployed:

It might your Flash or JAVA that is necessary for their weird popup advertisements... try updating them...

You guys might or might not be aware, but DICE has recently made claims that people lie on polls and forums and that Telemetry tells the real truth. I didn't realize until just now that Christina Coffin was gone from DICE, but, read it and weep, DICE:

telemetry tells the truth, but in the end playerbase perception is reality and kinda trumps it

Especially if they are on top of the crane on Nashahr Canals and you snipe them with a shotgun from the train tracks.
I had a guy go into a ballistic rage at me the other day because I kept RPG'ing him and his squadmates off the crane. Id just sit there and watch for them chute in and then give them time to set up another spawn beacon, then Id blast them all off with one shot. He called me a RPG spamming noob and every other colorful name in the book, my reply each time was......."stay off the crane".

well the problem is forums are not necessarily an accurate representation of the user base, but I agree, telemetry isnt end all be all

nope. too many issues with FLASH ETC so I quit trying a year ago or so

Does anyone know the range and size for the spread they show? I can compare one gun to another but if one shoots 1" spread and another a 2" spread at 25m, it doesn't matter too much to me. As long as the spread is smaller than the size of a head, I'm happy

Firefox is 32bit by default. You have to download a special unsupported binary to run it as a 64bit application.

And that's why I challenge DICE to poll their community through Battlelog. they should easily be able to make it so that a player has to answer the poll before they can enter a server. Basically, how do you solve the problem of poor sampling on forums? Easy - poll EVERYONE.

One question at a time would stay up for 1 week. They could poll on things like 3D spotting, suppression(trying to find out if people hate it in general, just hate the blurring, or just hate the random deviation), random deviation, recoil. All they have to do is put a little thought into the poll choices. Which means - don't make polls like:
What are you looking forward to?
Armored Kill
Close Quarters
The next patch

Because obviously, if there are bugs or imbalances that need to be fixed, people are going to say the patch....
