Anyhow I've gotten all my class medals - so I'm back to using my normal soldier class for each type of map...

Try not to get hooked going for master class for each weapon (500 kills). I'm doing that and some of the guns are a grind.

46 weapons with at least 500 kills..........29 left to go. I doubt that Ill get the Master dog tag for every weapon, its beginning to get tiresome grinding some of these lesser guns.

It was already a grind when I was just using the sniper class to get the recon medal! To me it was 50hours of hell...D:

I'm probably only going to do master class with my main gun for each class... I dunno... BFBC2 I got compulsive with getting master class (Gold/platiunm stars) for my weapons too..

Battlefieldo - BF3 Premium Service is No Rumor

There has been a lot of dancing around the subject, but no actual denial when it comes to the "rumored" Battlefield 3 Premium Service.

We can happily confirm that the Battlefield 3 Premium Content Service is no rumor, and is definitely set to launch on June 4th, 2012, along with the double XP for PC players.

When the "rumor" first started circulating, we had a credible source, which turned out to be right. Now we have multiple sources which are all saying the exact same thing.

The date may be subject to change as of now, since this post has gone live, but remember - it's coming, and with the mix reaction of fans, who knows where it'll take the Battlefield franchise.

Here's some the information regarding Battlefield Premium. Thanks to our good friend 32bita:

Battlefield Premium contains all 5 Battlefield expansion packs with early access, new camos, and exclusive in-game items for a one-time fee.

Now that it's confirmed, what are your thoughts?

Uh...BattlefieldO is claiming that the premium service is confirmed just because they have multiple anonymous sources? Don't get me wrong, this is par for the course for EA, especially since Activision is doing it(which means EA has to do it too), but I don't think it's confirmed just because BF-O says so...and I'd rather wait until it is confirmed by EA before beginning the demonization.

By the way, I haven't seen any of you in the Planetside thread. If you go there you will find a link to a new video by TotalBiscuit, just curious what reactions you all have to it. Gameplay as far as infantry looks a bit like BF3. At least in terms of the readily visible aspects: The way your soldier runs and his shoulders bounce, holds his weapon, aims down sight, etc.

I finally got around to playing the BF3 single player, surprisingly it was actually decent although not quite on the same scale as the better modern shooter campaigns. The graphics and sound in BF3 really help, and I love how smoothly the game runs now with the new vid card.

Anyway, I went in with the lowest expectations and was pleasantly surprised. It was about 50% longer than people had said, I was expecting 4 hours but it took 6 to beat. The graphics are just so good that I found myself frequently oogling the scenery and locales before moving on to the next checkpoint. If it had only had CoD visuals I'd probably have been bored stiff.

The game keeps stuttering to an unacceptable level. It's crashing left and right. Just had 7 levels crash IN A ROW. Frame rate goes to hell even on low settings. The problem is that this DIDN'T happen when the game first launched. Each additional patch seems to screw up the stability of the game. I'm getting very angry and frustrated.

I wouldn't bother generally speaking the weapons are very well balanced and its fun to unlock crap.

Yeah, I wouldn't bother unlocking the weapons. However, the vehicle unlocks will be helpful.

you need to check/update your audio and nic drivers.

Never occurred to me to look in Documents. I figured it was in AppData or another hidden folder. Thanks guys.

To get all the weapons? about 20 to 30 Hours... to get ALL the attachments for ALL the weapons? another 30 hours...

Vehicles is a different story and sinper class is a drag...


But to put it in perspective... I'm at almost 300hours of playing time and still have not unlocked everything yet! D: You can check out my BF3 on Battlelog to see what I haven't unlock yet... but it is with normal game play and not compulsive grinding to unlock things kind of playing time...
