I've had it happen, was a driver problem. I quit BF3 and then the nvidia driver crashed and when I went back into the game it was fine.

The only graphics bug I've experienced at times is my weapons visually 'disappearing'. It's still equipped and works perfectly and I can swap to others (which are also invisible), but I just can't see it; I'm pretty sure I also do not get the visual feedback from recoil when it happens too.

Only happened a handful of times and I once figured out how to fix it. But then it didn't happen for a while and I have now forgotten again lol.

Have that happening to me all the time,usually if i die and get revived the bug goes away or the next spawn,how did you fix it?

I've been having a problem with my G5 in BF3. I've been playing the game with the same mouse since the beta. About two weeks ago it started cutting out on me in game, only after I've been playing for a while. The reason I bring it up here is that it only happens in this game, all other games and software is no problem.

I've updated the crappy logitech drivers and software, that doesnt help.

Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

I was playing just now when right in the middle of the game my rifle suddenly had a funky purple tiger stripe camo and my motion sensor was red tiger. I thought maybe the server had switched on a pimp mod. LOL

Mine wasnt as bad as the video I linked above but it sure was trippy. I asked in game WTF was going on and if anyone else was seeing this, and a dude told me it was the latest nvidia drivers. Funny thing is Ive been using these drivers for a week or so now and it just showed up today right out of the blue.

This is a result of GeForce Driver 320.18. I take it you're using them?

I've had tremendous issues with 320.18, including what you saw but going all the way to complete screen corruption. Dropping down to 314.22 fixed it. The problems were BF3-only. I've been testing lots of games lately...

I have noticed since I upgrade to 320.18 problems in a few games. Grid 2, I get some strange tearing like stuff. I just upgrade and haven't tried BF3, but I know before I upgrade drivers I had zero problems in BF3.

Yep thats the culprit, rolled it back last night.

Anyone having issues with origin refusing to log into online mode?

Origin is claiming their servers are online and attempting to even play using battlelog just throws a origin popup to purchase BF3 lol when i try and load a server.

If i have to reinstall Origin which i guess i might have to as it hasn't connected in over 3 hours,will my games have to be redownloaded?

Played against an ATOT guy last night. Conquest Domination on CQ maps is a lot of fun, except when certain ATOT members are using shotguns. =( Don't remember the name though. Wish I could find a hardcore server with this gametype though. I dislike radar and being able to take 45 bullet ticks before the guy I am shooting dies.

I had been using those drivers for over a week before seeing anything weird. Its a pretty wild bug, give them some time if ya want to see the acid freak show. LOL

Speaking of other modes...

I actually joined Gully for a round of CTF on one of the End Game maps, and frankly, I couldn't get into it at all. Isn't it something like the Titan mode actually?

Nope Titan mode was kind of like conquest. You cap the flag and defend it long enough to launch the missile. Once you get enough missile hits on the Titan, you try to board it.

I just purchased "Premium" and I was pretty sad that there were only a few servers on the premium maps playing tdm/squad dm :'(

You have to be very very careful with your filter settings.

It's to be expected. With so many modes of play all the servers are splintered. Does EA maintain a few servers for each mode?

I don't own premium but i did install CQ using the redeem code and personally besides scrapmetal,i freaking love these maps especially conquest domination.:thumbsup:

Only issue i hate about those maps is the lousy spawnpoints,i pick a random spawnpoint and with some maps having well over 20k squarefeet the server can spawn me a couple feet from a enemy or hell even a few lol.

You don't know? It only doubles the points you get for spot bonuses.

Well, I just completed a game where I got like 45 ribbons or something silly like that and got a double bonus of 17k. Hmm. Says I got a total of 55k though from the game.

Well, I bought premium because I thought I might give BF3 another try and it was only 15 bucks.

Looks like 95% of the servers are empty. I think I have an easier time getting games in BF2...

Check your filter settings.
Also I think a lot of the servers switched to CQ for the Double XP event.
Plus I've noticed a lot more sketch people playing during the Double XP event.
Give it a try once that's over with. I'm willing to bet it will be better.

Yeah check you server filters, be sure you arent looking at empty servers.

There are tons of servers and people playing just about any type of game.

I play them all. I finally unlocked all attachments for all weapons just today. It's only taken me since initial launch...not doing that again with BF4. Now, on to getting 500 kills with all weapons. Wish me luck.
