Has anyone else experienced or seen a glitch when a solider goes prone while running and start crawling up hill? The player's soldier neck stretches out so long it looked like an alien or dinosaur with a long neck...

I tried to get a screen shot of it with my "print screen" button, but copied and paste didn't work

From my prior post i get into i believe my 8th map no weapons...i'm killed and guess what i'm respawning with all weapon controls...i die and guess what?

I lost my weapons again and also sound....for the love of god is this only happening to me or am i not alone?

Edit: further investigation and when you respawn none of my class weapons show up,the names do nothing else not even the ammo count as you play....

I mean what happened between closed and open beta?

I havent seen that yet, but I did keep losing the ability to aim down the sights with my primary weapon. I had to switch to my pistol, aim down the sights with it then switch back to get it to work again. This happened several times last night. Lots of bugs to be worked out for certain.

I set it on ultra at 1080p with my dual GTX 460s and Phenom II X3 720. Minimum frames were in the teens, average was around 20. max around 40. Not too terrible. I imagine it might become playable with a little dose of Bulldozer, game optimization and improved SLI scaling.

I wish we had a proper benchmark for it though.

This is a bad sign for me with my 5770. I can unlock the other cores on my X2, but I might be VGA limited. I guess Ill try high settings

No, BC2 squad interface is in-game. So is VOIP, when it works.

If so could you use a logitech joystick in its place? I used to LOVE how easy it was to fly a chopper in BF2...I had it down to a science with the cobra...in BC2 it was hard as hell to control for me for some reason...

I'm the same way. I could barrell roll, fly under power lines, etc with a blackhawk in BF2. BC2...I could get off the ground, and then maybe fly around until someone shot me cause I was flying too straight. I eventually just gave up bothering, especially since the UAV controls were always opposite the flight controls I didn't want to constantly change my settings.

The first part of metro is 'meh' to me. However I've really grown to like the underground bits, that part I feel is very well done. Currently I am m16 sniping with an IR scope, even in daylight, and the amusing thing is when you die everything in the death cam is in IR mode. lol.

You won't be playing ultra on a 5770. I get between 25-40fps, depending on area, with 1920x1200 on high with 16xaf. Core i5 probably helps me here though, still I feel its quite playable and will suffice until the next gen cards come out.

I really have this feeling that non dx11 cards are not doing well at all in this game. Seems those with the 4xxxx series get noticeably worse performance than even some of the low end 5xxx series.

Well, alt tabbing is smooth as far as the computer not locking up, but that's about the only smooth thing about it. BF2 allowed you to still see or at least hear what was going on while you messed with squad/etc windows, and I thought it was bad enough that BC2 reduced that a bit with it's entire-screen blocking interfaces. And now you have to leave the game entirely?

The thing is with battlelog they can easily make a game overlay like steam has and provide all your stuff there.

Anyways. Alt tab support for this game is better than any game ever released. It's fast, and will not lock up your computer.

FAQ:

Hi people, i just discovered that battlelog friend limit is at 150 Friends.
It would be nice to have as many friend as we want to.

Limits are in place while we see what kind of habits you all have, how many friends you add, how long you use the site for etc.

Things will/may be adjusted as retail approaches.

It seems whenver my brother and I want to play together we can, one of us becomes connection to EA lost. What is the deal here?

If this is happening when the game servers are up it could be because you are on strict NAT settings.
Turn both consoles on and run the Microsoft network test on both consoles and see what is says your NAT settings are.
Also, do you have both Xbox 360 accounts linked to two different EA accounts or are they linked to one EA account?

Joining as squads doesn't work in the BETA.

How do I connect my Xbox 360 Gamertag to Battlelog?

You go to http://www.ea.com [ea.com] and connect your Gamertag to your EA account in the "account" section that you are using to log into Battlelog with.

Destructive Buildings (Console)

The destruction is the same on console and PC.
You won't be able to take down buildings in multiplayer as that would mean levelling a whole city. You can however take out large parts of buildings and possibly destroy smaller buildings in other maps but you will have to wait and see those maps

i cant join a server it says joining server then nothing happens?

Try restarting your Origin as well as logging out from Battlelog.
Launch Origin and log back into Battlelog

So there seems to be some confusion around what a beta is. That is why I am posting this in order to clear it up .

Give it a good read

When a new game is created or updated, there are several stages in development before the product can be sold in the commercial marketplace. You might remember our Alpha Trial from July which was the first stage, in which the game is tested by software testers and gamers. A beta version is the name for the second stage of software testing.

The beta version of a software release is considered to be a preview. It has most of the standard features, but is not yet ready for wide release or sale. During this point, the studio will collect feedback from users about the product's usability — what they like and what should be changed — before the game´s wide release. A beta version of a game can be either a closed beta, which is limited to a specific group of users, or an open beta, which is available for the general public to use.

Today, most games are first released in beta version for testing.

yeah i reported this during the alpha but it hasn't happend to me yet during the beta.

is it normal to switch to the pistol when you're revived? does anyone else have the "space to accept" stick for a while? it seems i always end up hitting space to accept and then stand right up to have my head blown off all over again

I didn't until the last round. Pretty funny

it never even really asks, you are just revived and show you the question I think

I swear that I sometimes don't push the spacebar and I get revived. I don't know if it is just that I am hitting it and not paying attention or if game actions other than hitting 'R' (or whatever it is to decline)will auto accept it as well

Sidenote: If you get enough ribbon awards it doesn't list them all you just get one generic 'Ribbons' ribbon and the sum total of points underneath it

SideSidenote: You shouldn't have left that round you and I were in Gully - the team got really really good for a couple of rounds after you left
